Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere is a big, and guess growing, pothole in the parking lot. And the seating chairs in my room were torn.
The Harraseeket is a great place to stay. Great staff!

United States of AmericaOverwhelming smell of pet odor.
We were able to get a pet friendly room. We enjoyed being able to hang out in the parlor having tea and treats while we played chess.

United States of AmericaThe buffet breakfast which is now a charge of $23 per person is not worth the price as the options are limited Movie nights do not advertise the movie that is going to be played
The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating especially Michael the morning chef, Celeste the waitress and Robin the food and beverage manager as they worked with my wife’s dietary needs. The made to order breakfast was excellent. The tavern was a great location for breakfast

United States of AmericaOur fav place to eat at night has always been The Broad Arrow Tavern. Sadly, the menu is lacking now. No fire over pizza or steak? I mean, those are staples. They were out of one of the appetizers, the brie. We had drinks and two apps. But even the cauliflower was in very small pieces. No chef I guess, I wonder where he went?
You know, I've been here many times, it was ok. The eggs were cold, and I wasn't a fan of the seasoning that was used in the potatoes

United States of AmericaMenu at Tavern needs more options. Miss the Harvest Room for dinner. The buffet was ok but not like it used to be years ago. Same with afternoon tea, miss the different cheeses and crackers, etc.
The room was clean. Switched room from 302 because the heater made room vibrate, and it was very small to 206. Staff was very accommadating and moved us quickly. Inn was nicely decorated with several active fireplaces.Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

United States of AmericaThe included breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious! Our waitress remembered our coffee/tea/juice order from one day to the next with a welcoming smile! Dinner at the Black Arrow Tavern was also a wonderful experience! Tea at 3:30 pm in front of the lit fireplace was a pleasant and welcome surprise after a day shopping. This was a perfect location for our annual ladies trip!

United States of AmericaThe heated pool wasn’t heating properly while I was there, however, someone was working on fixing it. Would have been nice if they had a sauna.
Beautiful Inn. Warm and comfortable environment. Two fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit always burning. Comfortable pillows and beds. Large bathroom. Extra amenities for people staying there. For example, free afternoon tea and movie night in the parlor on Tuesday and Wednesday nights with popcorn and soda. Friendly staff, great coffee and breakfast. Location is within walking distance to all the shops on Main Street and the outlets. Large, free parking lot behind the Inn.
