I stayed on the 17th floor, and the smell was horrible. It smelled like sewage. I'm not sure if because the restaurant and everything was on the 18th floor, what the problem was.

The lobby area. Hard to get to. Not knowing we had to pay the valet service as there was no real parking anywhere. No garage. Nothing. The fees for food were not very clear as far as how to pay, or what the steps are. Still confused.

Housekeeping. Did have caffeinated coffee the first morning. The second morning no coffee cups. Hotel billing practices are confusing. My credit card shows that I have been billed for valet parking as a separate charge and when I checked out I paid for valet parking. I was told I will receive a refund in 3-5 business days.

Front foyer was muddled and lacked inviting vibe. Staff didn’t offer any help or advice. Exit door straight onto street by the pool wasn’t clearly signed as I went out by mistake.

Very central, not too hard to find off the motorway and parking staff were amazing! Water was available to fill drink bottle.

You charged my card $150 for "incidentals" but then charged extra for a "Hot" breakfast separately. Also I originally ordered a continental breakfast but did not understand that there was a "Continental Breakfast Buffet" and a "Hot Breakfast Buffet" like anyone is going to realize the difference. (There are a ton of Motel 6's that have both hot and cold stuff for NO extra free). Basically I got charged twice for breakfast, and I have yet to have my "incidentals" charge returned.

Obviously the homeless issue around the property is an issue. Other than that it met my needs.

Excellent manager who helped me out with my multiple reservation issues. Easily accessible to everywhere. The gym was good. The food in the 18th floor restaurant was pretty good. The room was perfect.

It was not the most central location but was only a short Uber so it was fine.

The rooms were spacious and clean. We liked the roof top bar, breakfast, the pool and the little shop on site.

The rooms were really humid. Was charged extra fees for state taxes, city taxes, city-state taxes, pet fee, etc. Rather than being totaled/group as one. Ended up having to pay $640 for the stay instead of what was guaranteed through booking.com for $450. They ended up telling me that I’d be refunded the difference, due to their “temporary” charge for insurance purposes. Yet still have not received the reimbursement. Restrooms were eh. The doors had paint peeling off and towels had yellow stains yet were still set up to use in the restroom upon arrival. The sheets and pillow cases were stained as well. As well as the staff not being cooperative when I called requesting extra/clean towels and sheets. Including more trash bags. I was told “you’re gonna have to come down and get all that”. Then was hung up on. Never had this experience with other hotels. Since they usually have someone bring it up whenever they could.

I liked how the staff were super nice upon greeting. Location was great to walk to 6th street!

breakfast/Dinner at the 18th over Austin was insulting. we went in there to eat dinner and it was completely empty, giving the impression this was not a good place to eat. The prices for the breakfast was way to high for what you get. once again when I went in there it was once again had nobody in there and I seen the prices ($45.00 for both of us to eat there) and knew why it was empty.my wife and I walked 10 mins to IHOP and ate the same breakfast you offer for $19.95 per person for total of $23.00 for the both of us. I’m extremely doubtful that we will stay there again… just wasn’t impressed with the hotel
