Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a lot of confusion when checking into the hotel. They could not find our reservation because there was an error in our registered names. The staff could not find us due to a clerical error made by the booking host. Our names were misspelled in the system. The hotel blamed the host. And we have had an issue with this on booking.com before, so we understood what had happened. Parking was crazy! It was a driver's nightmare navigating tight turns to get into the garage. If you are nervous or claustrophobic, be careful. It was a very tight area getting into and around the garage.
The hotel is around the corner from the airport, so that was good. It's located on a main road, so it's easy to get to from the city. The room size is nice; I had a king bedroom. The bathroom space was adequate, and they have some great amenities. My room had a refrigerator and a microwave!!!

The breakfast was too simple, not many choices and some of the things were cold (like the eggs).
The room was pretty good, large enough, clean, very comfortable bed.

one elevator wasn't working, rooms near us were being renovated and construction took place too early in the morning

When i arrived at property booking.com said card would be passed at property. Reservation man said it had passed and i never received bill. Got home to find visa charged 56$ more than stated. Called- they think it is damage fee which ‘should’ be returned within 10 days. If not call back

Long wait for airport pickup, no coffee in the restaurant. No shuttle before 04.30. No coffee in reception.

Only thing I would change is the loud music in the bar / restaurant. There was no separate lounge bar for a quiet drink.
It’s sort of in between a Holiday Inn and the Express version but with excellent service. Location is a bit industrial but easy to get to the Metro and a selection of restaurants nearby. I would recommend it, definitely good value. Breakfast offered a decent selection.

There was no drinking water in the room. Guests must be provided with complimentary water bottles. At least two bottles a day if not, then at least on the 1st day when they check in.
Very good breakfast. Good spread to choose from.

Room was not very comfortable. Bed needs new mattress, bathroom was FREEZING, difficult to maintain consistent room temp, very low water pressure.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was small. The sink had a huge crack in it. The staff were very friendly and accomadating. The breakfast was good but expensive for a buffet. The pub food was subpar!

Parking is $38 per vehicle. There is free parking behind the hotel but it's maybe 5 spots and I wouldn't feel confident that my vehicle was ok. I chose this hotel based on value. I could've gone with an airb&b or nicer hotel for what we paid including the parking fees.
The staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate a room change. The restaurant had great ambiance. Good location

I noticed some of the wallpaper in the room peeling. Also, the fan in the bathroom was very noisy.

Around 7pm, Housekeeping person opened my door when I was sleeping and came in room. She didn't knock or announce her entry.

The bathtub is clogged, I had to clear the hare myself before being able to take a shower.
It's 15min near to airport and have shuttle bus from 4:30am per 30min.

You have to pay for parking and the bathroom shower was a little worn.
The staff was nice. The location was convenient for where I was visiting. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a Keurig in the room with pods for coffee & tea in the morning which I appreciated.
