Booked a King room that was cheaper than others but turned out to be under a stairwell in an end corner. The window was a view a wooden fence. Bed was too firm and should provide 4 pillows with a King room. Furniture was minimal and old.

Typical Hollywood downtown older motel with convenient locale and clean rooms. Felt safe with the 24 hour front deskman, the clean tidy parking lot and far enough away from the Tent city folks. Norm's Restaurant only 2 blocks away w/ good food and prices

It would have been nice to have more chairs for sitting while in the room and maybe a small table. The bathroom and water pipes were quite noisy at times.

The location was easy to access via the metro. It was easy to get to all the places we planned to visit while there. The hotel was close to shops for groceries and close to a wonderful laundrette to wash our clothes before we left. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There's not much we didn't like, other that bathroom is tight and the toilet seat moved when you sat on it!

Close to a target shop! It was clean, room was a good size. Had all the basics like microwave! Shower had great water pressure. It was a good price for accommodation, as alot of places are expensive around hollywood. Was close to all the things we needed to go to!

When we checked in we got given two rooms that were not made up yet due to miscommunication between cleaning and reception - but it was sorted out - Just a bit of in and out of the rooms with our luggage to get there. First impressions were interesting as there is a passive agressive sign posted on the front door about Breakfast not being included in room rates!

It is easy to find not very big hotel, with a free parking available. Clean room and bathroom, hot water in a shower and a friendly personnel.

The location is awful, but that it just the whole neighborhood. The AC was very noisy and kept us awake, had to turn it off to sleep.

The room was sufficient, tidy and clean. Staff were accommodating. Even saw a SQUIRRELL!

Maybe a little far from Ovation Hollywood and Chinese Theatre but as there was the metro and bus very near, it was ok.

The area is a little rough - we knew this already and so not too worried, but the homelessness rate has really gone up in the past 4 years since we last stayed. But these poor people are no trouble.

Great value for money. Location was great for us as walking distance to Hollywood, easy to walk to Griffith Observatory from there. Big comfy room. Easy check in process. Staff were helpful.

It was noisy at night. The chain lock on my door was not there and I would have felt a little safer if I the chain lock has been on the door, in addition to the normal door lock.

The room was clean, the management was nice. Location was good - very close to a Metro station. There are some stores, like a Target and a Ralph's within walking distance which was nice. I picked this inn to try to save a little bit of money for a quick stay in Hollywood (and knowing I would not be in the room much). If you like a a more luxurious stay then this is probably not for you - but if you're looking for something affordable to basically sleep and shower, this is a good option.

Not the properties fault but the area is impacted by the homeless, with trash and unfortunately the smell of urine and excrement.

However, the neighborhood has homeless people camping on the streets. But this is kind of a city problem, only the rich areas has no homeless on the streets.

The location was just perfect for everything we did. 10-15 min to Hollywood, 15 min to Universal, 5 min to Griffith Park. Really close to the freeway. 25 min from airport with no traffic. Ross, Marshalls and Target are just a couple blocks walking. The room was cleaned everyday and had enough space to make us very comfortable. The staff is really friendly. Free parking was also good since it’s kind of a rule you rent a car in LA.
