Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe security deposit is a joke. We had British credit cards so we're informed that the money would take 30 days to return to account- as yet, it still hasn't arrived. Not good enough.

AustriaDon't expect a 4* resort, but a good place for a valueable price.
You get what you can expect for this rate. And that was more than ok. + Location matters: great place to explore Hollywood and surrounding areas (it took me a 30 min run to Griffith Observatory) + Friendly and helpful staff. + Safe parking for $10 per night + rooms in the back are quieter + WiFi was good

United KingdomWe had a problem with the shower in our room as the water was flowing all over the toilet/ bathroom floor, unfortunately this was not an easy fix and they didn't have another room available so they couldn't shift us. However the staff were really helpful and did the best they could by making sure we had old towels to put on the floor throughout our stay.
The room was very spacious and it had a balcony. The staff were really helpful, we arrived super early and even though they didn't have a common toilet/ bathroom space in the property they gave us access to a room under repair so we could freshen up after our overnight bus journey! Also there were some really amazing Thai food places and taco trucks nearby - these were some of the best food we had during our time in California.

AustraliaBooked a room with balcony. Wish I had booked ground level. Had to struggle up 4 lots of stairs with heavy luggage. No point with balcony as there is no view, it does overlook their pool. Balcony is basically a shared outdoor pass way that people use to walk to their room, it has chairs if you want to sit there. I wouldn’t call it a balcony for that room. We were not comfortable to sit out there. There is also a door/ gate bangs frequently throughout the day and night. (It is an entrance for the car park gate I believe). We had an early flight, so we got to Hollywood in the morning. I sent an email before we left Australia asking if I could store our luggage when we get there as we have an early flight. When we arrived the man said check in is not until 3pm. I told him our story. He then charged us an extra $28US for us to put bags in our room. We had no choice we had to pay extra. Also there are a lot of homeless people in the area and a lot of rubbish on the streets.
Room was a good size, very spacious, bed comfortable, nice shower. Security gate at entrance. Can walk to attractions (past homeless people). If you don’t like to walk perhaps use public transport.

United States of AmericaThe room itself was a bit dirty. Feels like it was given a once over by housekeeping and it wasn’t throughly cleaned. The remote, phone, and light switches in the room had sticky gunk on them so I had to clean/disinfect them before use. Floors made your socks dirty as well. Towels are fairly small and the bedding is thin. Best advice would be to bring mini Lysol wipes and mini Lysol spray to wipe down commonly touched surfaces and bring your own towels/bedding if you want to be more comfortable. This location is in downtown LA so it was noisy and there were many houseless people, but where I come from it’s the same atmosphere so it didn’t bother me.
Booked this location about a month out and was able to secure a cheap price. Was going to be in LA for a 1-day event and decided to stay for a weekend. This hotel was located less than 5 minutes away from Griffith Park and had many restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. The Metro was located down the sidewalk for the hotel so this was perfect for people looking to take public transportation around LA. The room was quaint for two people. The water turned hot fast and there were basic toiletries provided. A/C worked and was able to cool the whole room. There is also a hairdryer, microwave, coffeemaker, ironing board, and mini fridge within the room. There is a pool on site and parking was securely located behind a gate at the back of the property and you can come and go as you please. There was plenty of storage for clothes and the wifi worked really fast. The front desk was quick to check in and out and very kind. Overall it was worth the price we paid for the amount of time we stayed at the location.

United KingdomThe AC/Heating machine is almost more noisy that the traffic outside (and I wasn't facing the street) it is on Hollywood Boulevard but too far to walk to all the sightseeing it is safe tho. They also have a pool which wasn't covered for this time of the year so I hope they're gonna clean it before it will open because like that it doesn't really look clean and sanitized at all.

United States of AmericaWe had room #2 and could hear cars driving by, people above us running around, not hotels fault it’s just smaller older building and close to the street if I stayed again probably ask to be near the back and second floor Room also had no full length mirror or much shelves in bathroom (if ur someone who’s needs that when getting ready)
It was affordable, clean, front desk was so sweet and friendly, easy gated parking just a simple hotel near where we wanted to visit WiFi, tv, microwave, air and fridge worked great!

CanadaI wish there was more shelving in the bathroom, for makeup bags etc.
This is a gem! An oasis in the heart of Hollywood, it feels very classic kitschy LA. It’s not luxury, but it’s great value for the price. It feels safe with secure parking. The building is older, so the walls are thick and it’s quiet in the rooms.
