Location was excellent for going to the UW Clinic to attend an appt. The clinic is a very short distance from the hotel!! Wonderful for being convenient and no driving during rush hour traffic. Very, very clean--everything.

The heater was super loud and squeaked, so we had to turn it off cause it was annoying in the middleofthenight. Also, the cleaning crew woke me up at 8 a.m., but I'm also a light sleeper, and with us turning off the heater, it could be our fault

There was a few “fresh-looking” stains on the bed and lounger in the bedroom that were concerning, but our group was pretty low maintenance so did not bother us too much.

The property was modern and clean. The staff was friendly, and our room was beyond our expectations! The property is located near other amenities such as a gas station, and the hotel amenities that the hotel offers met our needs well!

The DC that was put on file for the $50 hold was charged in the amount of one night's rate. I contacted management the following day after check out to notify them of the error. The transaction was reversed, and the payment was back in the account within 5 business days.

The pool was small but nice to have an indoor pool.

The manager was amazing and helped us to get to the airport when we couldnt find a ride. The rooms were really well taken care of and beautifully layed out.

The staff at the front desk always seemed distracted on their phones. I had to ask for a luggage cart and where the elevators are and they spoke as though I should have known those things already. I felt like an interruption to them.

Very clean and well kept. The pool area and outdoor patio was a great place to spend time with my family. The room layout on the Queen Sweet was really nice also.

Had a staff member unlocked the door to tell us about check out time. We were currently getting ready for our start of the day and check out. It made us uncomfortable that he unlocked our door.

Room amenities were not replenished daily. It would be nice to include breakfast and coffee in the lobby, since the room coffee wasn't the best.

One source of confusion was the breakfast advertised on the hotel's website at https://www.cambria-madison.com/. At the bottom of the page, a deluxe complimentary breakfast is described, but we quickly learned any free breakfast is NOT offered at this property (although the warmer hardware is still on-site). When this discrepancy was brought to Ann's attention at the front desk, and she provided us a complimentary breakfast for each morning of our stay. This was greatly appreciated as our day started off much better and saved us time from having to retrieve breakfast elsewhere. As a hotel-provided breakfast is typically a deal-breaker for us, we would consider other properties over this location on a return visit.

My brother and I stayed here for our bucket-list trip to the annual Oshkosh air show and to also tour the state capitol building in Madison. The property is at a very convenient location on the northeast side of town with quick access to major highways and close to some amazing dining options. The property itself was clean inside and out, and our room was quite spacious, comfortable and quiet. The hotel staff, including Ann at the front desk and Martin at the breakfast counter, were quite polite and helpful. There is plenty of parking, and the area around the hotel is a beautiful, well-maintained office park with wonderful sidewalks and great lighting. The room price was reasonable when compared to similar hotels.
