Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe front desk staff was beyond rude and unhelpful. Had a mix up with or reservation and they acted as though it was a problem. It had 2 guest instead of 3. Also it's a horrible set up how many elevators you have to take to get to your room it was a total of 3 from the garage to room.
The location was great. Close to every thing, very accessible location. Location is literally in the backyard. The breakfast was nice and hotel clean . Housekeeping was sweet

United StatesWhile I appreciated the attached garage, I will say that while I am used to having free parking when you're a patron I am not opposed to having to pay to park, I was however surprised that no discount was given. Having already spent hundreds for a two night stay, then almost another hundred for parking.
I personally chose this location as it was close to the historical attractions I was planning on visiting. Unlike those within the area I was visiting they also had a connected parking garage. One thing I liked was that in order to access the floors and rooms you needed to have a room key which added a nice layer of security. Besides the walkable location to the historical attraction there was also a nice walk along the river which also had multiple vendors selling food, drinks, etc. The nearby park was playing a movie on a giant screen as well. Even though I-95 is nearby the traffic noise was not an issue either.

United KingdomHad issues with payment and cost, although Booking.com states $100 damages fee to be taken and returned upon check out, it is actually $100 PER NIGHT, we stayed 8 nights so the original bill was a lot higher then anticipated and left us with less spending money then expected so be weary of the fees and budget for them. Other than that the hotel was good
Nice Hotel, location is great for getting around Philadelphia, a subway stop is 10 mins walk away but walking into Center City takes 20-30 minutes and we did that most days, The pool was very nice and rooms were clean and tidy. Would recommend staying here but be aware of fees not stated on booking (see the negative part section)

AustraliaThe hot water in the shower. If you don't get up early, the water will be luke warm and barely trickle out of the showerhead. Pretty bad for a Hilton.

United StatesParking was a bit costly, and construction on 95 all night was annoying, but that is more a reflection of the city of Philadelphia than of Hilton.

United StatesParking was expensive and not the easiest to find. Was charged $100 incidentals per night upon arrival (although it was refunded upon checkout, that is still a lot to ask). Ice machine was broken and the coffee shop was closed.
The view overlooking the river and near independence historic area was excellent.

United KingdomSoundproofing of the windows, there was always a steady hum of traffic from the freeway and main roads below
Our room was on 20th floor so a great view of the Delaware River, over into New Jersey and the old boats moored alongside at Penn's Landing. The walk into old Philadelphia wasn't very easy with a mobility scooter and the cobbled streets were very uneven for the scooter too. Lots to see and do and so many places to eat

United StatesRefrigerator wasn't cold enough to be useful to keep leftovers from the Anchor and Rope cold; only cans of soda or water are kept cold. Toilet seat was loose, a piece of tile was coming loose in the shower and the shower controls were not set up to function in an easy to use way.
