We stayed back in 2020 and did not have a good experience with the staff but did have a great stay so we came back in 2024 and we will be back time and time again. They treated us amazing and over the top!

The location was wonderful and the room was clean and well appointed. The balcony/patio area was very nice for relaxing. Loved that they provided beach chairs and towels for use!

Did not like only allowing one car to park and having to pay extra next door the room was very warm slept the whole weekend with windows open and the balcony door open and the pull-out couch was very uncomfortable I could feel springs I went and bought a air mattress I slept on the floor but they did bring an extra fan I told them that the room was very warm

Some would find the furniture and decor to be dated, but that is less important to us. Also, we couldn't use the air conditioner when we were there, but luckily we didn't need it because it wasn't too hot -- and it prompted us to open the windows at night, which was better anyway because then we could hear the waves!

The location is unbeatable - walking out your door to be at the ocean. It's in a quieter/calmer part of town. The parking situation is great. The room had everything we needed. The best part of the experience was the two chairs placed on the patio outside our back door so we could drink coffee facing the ocean in the morning. The kitchenette was also great. What a find!! I hope to come back next year.

It would be nice if the living room was separated from the bedroom with a door. The bathroom is very small, but the shower was quite nice.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We loved everything about our stay at Tuckaway Shores Resort! From the friendliness of the staff to our extremely clean and comfortable room, we couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking, making our whole experience beyond perfect. We will definitely be staying here again and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

1st floor king bed room was perfect for us seniors with a suburb view of the ocean waves, sunrises, and moon rises if your lucky enough to be there during that full moon phase. You have the best of both worlds by being on the beach or enjoying the late afternoon by the heated pool. The place was so clean, with manicured garden and cookout area with a cabana room for family gatherings.
