To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaSmall bathroom for 4 guests, however we made it work! There did not seem to be enough staff during the check in process. We were in town for a concert at Lucas Oil and the wait for valet and to check in was very lengthy (greater than 15 mins.). Then we had to wait in line over 15 mins to catch the elevator to our room. Seemed like there should have been more staff available for a quicker process knowing this concert was happening over two days.. maybe they got it right for Friday night's guests, but could've done better for Thursday.
The room was nice and very clean. I liked that we were able to access the indoor walkway to get us closer to Lucas Oil, since it was very cold and windy that day. Upon check out the staff was very helpful getting our car loaded. Valet had our car ready and waiting for us.

United States of AmericaIt was never explained to us that parking in the hotel parking garage would be an additional $55 added to the bill. When we checked in, we got asked where we parked and the employee made our cards work to get in and out of the garage. It was pretty surprising to wake up to an additional $55 for parking being noted in the statement. If the hotel has parking accommodations for their visitors, the parking garage should absolutely be included in the charge of the room as a way to say thank you for staying with Marriott. For this reason alone, we will stay somewhere else when we come back for our annual visit to Indy.
The hotel was very clean, employees were very nice. The bed was decently comfortable, and it was really nice that the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Room was not cleaned very well, found an angry Orchard bottle top on the floor, so made me think the floor was not swept. Restaurant staff at Conner very rude. Not friendly at all. Bell hops and valet were the best interaction with hotel staff.

United States of AmericaNo tub, nothing to prop your leg on in the shower to shave, no fan in the bathroom, dim lighting in both bathroom & bedroom, microwaves only on 3rd floor in laundry room, $15.99/day for wifi & $52/day to park, room was not cleaned on our stay over, hallway smelled like weed in the morning, front desk did not ask how our stay was so I didn't convey our issues. Expected more for the price.

This is the only hotel I have stayed in that there was no coffee available on the weekends. Had to wait until 7 am to BUY one for $5.00. You rate yourselves a 4 star hotel. No coffee makes for grumpy guests.
Very nice Marriot. Clean, good staff. Centrally located downtown within 15 minutes of Lucas Oil Stadium.

United States of AmericaI was very overwhelmed by the parking and cost. I understand you cant control the parking near you but $62 a day to park a car seemed absurd to me. The valet were great and for $5 more to have them park my car was nice but that price is stupid.
I did not have breakfast. I was there for a conference and did not use the room for more than showers and sleep. Everything was great though.
