Furniture downstairs wasn’t super comfortable and it was very humid in the complex. Made everything feel damp and a little musty!

Loved the location and the view!! We had a room right in front of the boat dock and loved watching the manatees!!

This is out of their control but the beach area, like everywhere else on the island is not what we were used to with the beaches in the Carolinas. That being said, the water is gorgeous, they provide an area roped off for swimming, etc.

The perfect getaway for our family. The service and accommodations were wonderful, having the sister resort to utilize was a nice bonus. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond for us. The facilities were clean as well.

I didn’t like the whole bracelet/key thing because they stopped working twice in our three nights stay, which was annoying because you could not get into your unit until they came over to let you in. Also, there was some weird nonsense going on with the fans /lights in the bedrooms in unit 118 …I don’t know if they have all the fans with the lights in the bedrooms programmed on one code, but the people next-door were turning our fan lights on and off which was pretty annoying at night. We told the front desk twice and they didn’t seem to care. It seems like an easy fix if maintenance put the effort in.

It was two couples, so we liked that we each could have our own king size bedroom. We also had two full baths in the Bayview unit. We also liked the daily house cleaning. We liked to be able to hang out have coffee in the morning and drinks at night with the living room and kitchen …place overall was nice, but definitely not right across the street from the other amenities at the Islander. You definitely had to get in your car and go down the road, but there was a shuttle (golf cart) supposedly although I never really saw the guy, I guess you have to call him.

The pool is small but it sits on a tiny peninsula with views in 3 directions. Also, the water was very warm. We loved it!

Would say the beds aren’t very comfortable. They did say that they are going to be doing upgrades to the property very soon.

Spacious townhouse, perfect for families. Lovely pool area on the water. Boat docks. Also use of the resort across the way is a plus. More pools and beach area. Plus dining and drinks.

The tiki torches by the pool were not lit. I had to call the Oceanside resort (bayside office closes at 6) every night and complain. 1 night they never came and did it. 1 night only 2 of the 6 were lit. 2 nights they were all lit. But having to call 4 times was ridiculous. Also the pools at the bayside nor the Oceanside resort have a chiller. They were over 100 degrees. Like a giant hot tub with no satisfaction. We had to take a shower by the pool just to cool off. They are apparently closing in aug sometime for a 60 million dollar renovation. Also the marina docks are in need of repair. Lots of loose boards and cleats. The hose valve for our dock didn’t work (would not turn off) and of course the hose nozzle was broken. Not a big deal but for a resort that is 500 a night I was disappointed.

Great location. Quite at night. Never heard neighbors or trucks outside. A/c worked great.

Apartment worn down, stained sofa and carpets. Peeling paint on doors and door mouldings. Very limited kitchenware for cooking own meals. Based on apartment, not eligible for a four star rating. Phones not working, TV remotes not working. Some dead light bulbs. Told the staff but nothing happened while we stayed there. Please note that the only aparments that actually has a good bay view is the "Bay Front King". We payed for a "Bay View King", looking right into a big palm tree.

Very nice area. Friendly staff. Included access to Islander Resort with beach area. And essential, as the beach and pool area at Bayside is very limited.

The doc at the boat slip was a bit wobbly. The bathroom did have mold by the tub (from water not staying in the shower curtain).

Love the on site boat slips, and layout of the two homes. It’s a beautiful little place to stay!

The town house was pretty beat up. Housekeeping was not on a daily basis but we were able to ask for additional towels and trade towels in . I took our garbage to the dumpster almost every day.

Great location and value. We brought our own bikes and enjoyed the large sidewalks. This is a very private option away from the main resort. We hardly used the resort facility. Very close to great restaurants and Publix. Views from the pool and beach landing were great. we say manatee's everyday and lots of birds.

Some things could have been better; i.e., ice dispenser in fridge did not work, and the door could not be opened sufficiently to access ice from the storage bin. Clearly a bad location for this type refrigerator/freezer.

Living room furniture and digital TV were not what we expected. We were scheduled for an extended stay (33-35nights) and so extra time was spent in Villa. Extra soft bed with Noisy overhead fan impacted evening sleep.

parking was tight, especially with bigger vehicles that are towing boats. Also the king bed was not very comfortable. It needs a mattress topper or something because while I don’t mind a firm bed, this bed was hard.

we loved that we had access to the sister resort and the shuttle was available to take us back and forth. Also, we could walk to local restaurants. The boat slips are well maintained and having the hoses available was great as well. The property was clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.

Ice maker in refrigerator did not work we requested something to be done twice with no response… we had to buy ice….microwave did not work. Needs around the clock person in office. The first night we were sleeping the fire alarms went off and the fire department came.. it was terrifying…the fire department had to wait for a manager to arrive before they could get into office and shut them off. …the sixth night a man with no shoes or shirt was POUNDING at our door at 4:00 a.m. and then he proceeded to pound at other peoples doors.. there were families with children and people were concerned. The bathroom at Bayside pool was disgusting and the door was broken.

The outside of the property and first impression is good…..Location to stores & restaurants..…the best part about the property is that we had access to the sister property The Islander Resort…Towel guys & servers at Islander pool & beach were great! Kelli the bartender never smiles. We stayed at The Islander Resort in “2022” and we were very happy so we thought that we would try Bayside and then realized that it was a mistake… we should have just stayed at the main resort again.

Units are getting old and nothing is being repaired and a lot is broken , molding is dog chewed and it smelled extremely musty and moldy.carpets Almost feel wet the smell was BAD, its time for major major updates. Used to stay 1 month at a time I only made it 3 days :(
