Tripped on block stair in front of main lobby door at night. Step is dark and there is poor lighting at night. I'm still recovering a week later.

Location was great. Handy that they have two sinks. Liked the walk in shower. Staff came and cleaned up a coffee mug I dropped and broke in the room (they wouldn't let me do it). He did a very thorough job of getting all the glass.

I didn't realize we were close to South Beach. It would be a nice feature to be tell guests what the closest beaches and major attractions are the closest to your motel.

Parking spaces too small. Almost impossible to have enough room to park and exit your vehicle if anybody is parked next to you.

Great location just one block off Duvall St. Room appears to have been recently updated. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Nice pool. Quiet location. Breakfast was basic but there’s a permanent food truck at the front of the motel which served breakfast and lunch. Also many restaurants near by.

I specifically chose this motel because I knew parking can be an issue in Key West and their listing said there was onsite parking available. When we arrived to check in, I was informed that their onsite parking was sold out, that onsite parking is not guaranteed, and that I would have to park in the street. I double checked my reservation confirmation, the motel's listing, etc. and did not see that noted anywhere. Fortunately, there was a street spot available directly across the street, but that required paying until midnight and then waking up before 8 am to "feed the meter." Also, our room was kind of tucked into an alcove and the exterior light was out. We arrived after 10:30 pm and it was very dark. We had to use the flashlight on our phones to be able to get into the room

The room was very large and very clean. The bathroom was HUGE. The woman who checked me in was very friendly. We didn't use the pool because the weather wasn't cooperating, but it looked clean and well-maintained. The breakfast area was clean, with someone there constantly tidying up.

Breakfast was underwhelming, very nice setup on the pool deck only to see pastries, muffins and bagels that I normally wouldnt even buy for our house so needless to say we passed on it and went somewhere else. Was disappointed that the staff wouldnt allow us to park on site for a hour longer especially when the parking lot was not full. We had to go find street parking while we got lunch after checkout.

Location was excellent and room was everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a nice place to go and chill between bar hopping and riding around the island. Staff was very helpful with the room and things to do.

Motel style property with super clean, large room with 2 queen beds. Modern decor as it looks like these were refurbished in recent times Good air conditioning that you could easily adjust Very light as we were on the top deck of two. The pool was a lot of fun. Clean, comfortable, and good size rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location of hotel from airport, beaches, and all key west activities. Breakfast was a bonus we didn't realize until last morning.

The heat and humidity was very high for the time of year we went. The room was wonderfully air conditioned!

Location was great and it’s the second time we stayed. It was fantastic and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne as it was our 40th wedding anniversary! So very sweet!!

Hard to say what could've been better. The breakfast was quite nice, pool area was quiet, and location is great. If I had to pick one thing it would be place an area rug in the room for additional comfort.

The staff was absolutely excellent. In our time there, the front office were extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, our time was cut 4 days short to due a life-threating emergency. The staff was very understanding, gracious, and supported our rushed checkout in every way we could have imagined.

The continental breakfast was sparse; not much to choose from.

The room was very clean and updated. We enjoyed the pool as it was also clean. We loved the location on the "quiet" side of the island. I will definitely recommend The Blue Marlin to friends and family.
