Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of America1 staff member was rude about the $25 destination fee. There was construction going on, so I'm not sure why we had to pay that. I also left a blanket in the room that was never turned into lost and found. I asked multiple times about it. No where to be found.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast bar wasn't the best, the menu options where very limited on what you could order. The wait staff was alright the waitress we had on our last day was a older Mexican lady she dropped off our food an not even a chance to grab the first bite dropped our check off at the table. We watched one of the chefs in black grab Cooked potatoes that came back on a plate from being served an put them back in the pan with the other potatoes that where all ready cooked. Parking sucked it was very tightly packed an haven to pay for parking I did think was a bit much for such small spaces Walmart has bigger spaces
The room was very nice an cozy. The staff at the front desk was great. Maintenance respond time was great .

United States of AmericaWe had dinner there the first night and I must say it's a thumbs down. I ordered fish and I had to ask them to take it away after a bite - too bland, plain. And because it was raining the first morning we were there we had to get breakfast at the same restaurant. The server (female) was really rude and because I did not let her get away with her attitude she asked another server to wait on us. I asked them if I could have sliced tomato instead of potatoes and she said I'll have to pay extra. huh? Oh and not only that, when we got our orders it was still wrong, I didn't get my tomatoes yet were charged because they included it in the omelet. Please train your staff to listen and to be nice.
I liked the view of the ocean from our room. We had a corner room so it was quiet. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel was short drive to restaurants and shopping.

United States of AmericaThe lack of more staff available. Also the parking fee was ridiculous for the price or overall quality of the hotel. Also it did not have a jacuzzi but that's is understandable with the distance to the ocean
Really enjoyed the room and how nice the overall stay and feeling of the room was top notch very elegant. Very friendly and kind staff.

United KingdomLooking and feeling jaded and tatty. One of the elevators wasn't working which is a problem in a 11 storey building. Little items like the lift buttons being cracked, the sliding windows in the room squeeking and drafty. Tiles in the bathroom old. The whole place is feeling its age and needs refurbishment. The staff were friendly and helpful but so casually dressed it was sometimes a shock. One was wearing a beanie hat one morning. It's not a problem but not very professional. The hotel bar and restaurant has really gone down hill. The food was OK. The bar man took ages with an empty bar. Then tried to fill my glass to the brim with rose. I had to stop him pouring. I think folks just go up there for the sunset which means the place is dead after 7pm. Maybe that's just La Jolla on a Thursday. All in all the place isn't a disaster it's relatively comfortable but it was a big disappointment after previous stays. Oh and who charges $39 a night for self parking when you can park 40 yards away for free.
Location, style of the hotel, rooms are a decent size.

United States of AmericaThe hotel had no record of our reservation on booking.com even though I had all of the information, booking number, etc. The hotel charged me $20 more than my confirmation price. The offered a $30 breakfast credit, but I didn't use it. Booking.com said I was entitled to a $77 credit on my account but I couldn't find how to use it.

United States of AmericaThe elevator was out for the duration of my visit. We walked 7 flights of stairs with suitcases, shopping bags, wedding gifts, and suitecases again.🥴 Other than an apology, we weren't offered anything for the inconvenience. Finally, someone issued a $25 food credit after I raised the issue.
The hotel was beautiful, clean, and located a short walk from everything.
