If you get a room looking towards the pool, then get ready to hear some noise. It is also humid inside the room because of the pool. It can be sorted out if you switch on fan/AC. The scale in the gym is outdated. It would be nice if they put electronic scale.

I liked the location. It is close to Hofstra University where we had an event. It is walking distance. The staff is polite and ready to help you. Room is big enough to fit 3 people. In walking distance you can find places to eat ( starbucks, chipotle, mcdonalds). The pool is good. The gym is average and good enough to do normal training.

The room was okay. The bathroom tub did not drain well and the curtain was old. I was put on the first floor even though I booked months in advance and it was very very noisy. They didn’t ask for my no boy number at the front desk, so I missed out on points and I didn’t realize that the booking didn’t include my membership. For the price of the rooms, there is no water bottles in the rooms, no fridge, very little towels and no room service. The price paid did not reflect this

I think that if the guess would like to extend their stay a day or two maybe offer this at the time of booking. I understand that it depends on room availability but that not an issues give it at the rate we paid. not a higher rate all hotels do that if your hotel offer a rate of booking customer would remember that. You need better signs for directions to the Marriot it was really confusing and at night it very difficult to see

Arrived and 2 cars had all 4 tires stolen right in parking lot. Fire alarm went off at 11pm when asked what happened after evacuation every staff member gave different answer . Staff member charged my credit card twice at check in and all Manager said was happens your bank will release hold in 3-5 business days

The property is old and in need of repairs. The hot water in the bathroom took at least 5 minutes to warm up. The only staff members that made you feel comfortable were the restaurant staff. They were very friendly and courteous. The front desk staff were very abrupt and not warm.

I requested a 2 double room to accommodate 3 adults. When we got to the hotel we were offered a room with 1 king bed. They were finally able to find a 2 double bed room. Our floor had a broken ice machine. We asked for a roll away cot and we were told no because it would be a fire hazard. I have never been declined a rollaway bed in all my travels. We asked for the WIFI pw and were told that we could not have WIFI access because we booked thru a 3rd party and not Marriott. I am a Marriott reward mbr and they still declined to provide WIFI unless I paid 10 dollars extra per day.

I don't think there was much to dislike. The neighborhood is not walkable, but that is to be expected in this area.

The room was good size, convenient and well maintained. I liked the tiny convenience store in the lobby, although I wish it had more items for sale. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is 10 minutes from the university which is very convenient.
