Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed too hard for me. Also, a bit noisy as all floors are LVT, even the hallways.

The hotel offers a "continental" breakfast, which was an additional argument for choosing this place. Therefore, I would at least have expected some jam or marmelade with the bagels and any kind (of hopefully not sweetened) cereals. This was disappointing.
I chose the hotel for business in Burien and easy reach of Seattle. I did not want to stay in any of the airport hotels which are as near to Burien. As expected, the hotel was situated well outside the airport noise and offered the possibility to walk a short distance in order to relax at the waterfront and profit from the good restaurants at the harbour. The hotel was clean, the bed good.

Breakfast a bit sad. No lift to 2nd floor rooms. Hotel overall needs modernisation.
Great location, two blocks from marina (where we recommend Anthony's for sunset) and ten minutes from airport. Large and comfortable rooms and beds. Value for money.

We had an issue with our key card not working twice. It was a little annoying, but the staff was very helpful and attentive to fix the problem.
Very clean and the continental breakfast was better than expected.

I did not like being on the first floor. Even though there is no elevator. The breakfast room gets busy in the morning and the sound traveled to our room. Also, the large window in the room let in great light but anyone in the parking lot had a clear view into the room.
The price was good, it was clean and quiet. The location was perfect for a birthday party 2 blocks away.

Ridiculously small and thin towels...if they were better, the rating would be much, much higher.

Window glass in our downstairs bedroom needs replacing as the double glazing has clouded over. We found two external doors on ground floor wedged open after dark which made the building feel unsafe. Only two eating houses open for dinner within a 10 minute walk: one on the marina very expensive and one Fish n Chips restaurant medium budget.
Large, clean, quiet ensuite room. Self-service breakfast; laundry.

The breakfast isn’t great but it’s not an issue for me, that’s not why I choose hotels.
Great hotel in a convenient location between Seattle and Tacoma. Easy to get too, and cute little coastal town location. This is our new go to place! We stayed here 2 weekends in row, once to see a Mariners game and the next weekend a concert in Tacoma. Even cancelled a reservation at a closer location to the venue to stay here and save money. You really can’t beat the price, or the free parking! Plenty of food options close.

Only complaint is that the walls seemed thin. Could here people from the hall and lobby. Room was next to entrance/exit so I could here every time someone came in and out. But nothing too bad.
Room was clean. Staff seemed friendly. Good location for the price. Lost of food places around the area. Some bars just right next door.

Could of used another blanket on the bed and larger bed pillows for the King size bed!
The location was perfect! The staff was very nice and accommodating. Walking distant to a wonderful restaurant for dinner. Wally's Chowder!

Great location to access airport and Seattle plus reasonable price. We needed laundry done and the facility was fine. Walking distance to nice restaurants and an OR outlet was nearby.
