To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United States of AmericaWe had two rooms and neither were cleaned well. Bathrooms still had dirty soap and half used shampoo bottles, bags of garbage were left in the room from prior guests, and food was left in mini fridge from prior guests.
Hotel was really nice and we enjoyed our strip view from our room. Front desk staff was very friendly.

United States of AmericaDidn't like smoke in the casino, especially worse later in evening. Long lines for check in. Check in person didn't give much information about the hotel.
Breakfast restaurant was sunny and cheerful, good wait staff. Food a little expensive. Would like fruit served with the full breakfast. Lots of restaurant options. Room very good with great view of the strip. Clean and spacious. Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaRooms were not up to standards. Towels were missing at chicken. I ask the person in the hallway that was cleaning and they were very rude and stated they couldn’t give me towed I had to call the front desk. The sink in the bathroom was leaking once you tuned the water on from the handle. I was suppose to get a 2 bedroom suite but I got two adjoining rooms.

United States of AmericaWe arrived at approximately Midnight to check into a “King Suite” with an adjoining “Queen Double”. The “King Suite” was a VERY dated oversized room with a king bed & not the cleanest. AT 12:45 A.M., ALMOST 9 hours beyond the check-in time of 4:00 P.M. the previous day, THE ADJOINING QUEEN DOUBLE WASN’T cleaned. Therefore, our sons needed to hang out in the “King Suite” past 1 A.M. local time before they could enter the room! A FULL NINE HOURS AFTER CHECK-IN TIME! Sent a text to Suiteness, no help whatsoever. Suiteness informed me I should take my concerns directly to the staff at Mandalay. I already did that and they were less than helpful. Therefore I reached out to Suiteness, and they were no help at all. Considering booked this 4 night stay directly through Suiteness at a cost in excess of $5,600.00 I was expecting considerably more. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The location was fine. Close to the T-Mobile Arena. Close to the MGM Garden. We had tickets to events at both locations. It was a short ride via taxi.
