I booked a non-smoking room and the whole room smelled like smoke from guest in the rooms next door. Had to get febreeze and other cleaning products to make the room smell good. Found a spider in my sheets when I got there. But it was only one. Breakfast was continental NO EGGS OR MEAT.

The hotel was definitely not the cleanest and very behind the times. Our bathroom door was like a farm styled door which was a struggle to open and close and there was a literal hole in the wall. I stayed in this hotel years ago and over time I’m assuming the quality has declined.

Advertised breakfast. There was cereal and coffee in a room that had not been cleaned in quite some time. Toilet leaked. Shower was broken. Couldn’t maintain hot water. Crime. Had a car chase ending in the parking lot with guns drawn. Scary.

The rooms have become run down. missing pictures on walls, torn window seat cushions, no microwave or fridge, and things like the facet not working correctly-only goes to high and you have to turn it many times and carefully to get it turned off. Also the breakfast was always minimal but now there is no fruit at all, no protein in hard boiled eggs or waffle irons. Just some bread, small premade waffles, tiny muffins and a couple cereals. There wasn’t even tea bags or oatmeal so not sure why they still have hot water.

I have stayed here frequently for over the last 10 years. It is centrally located to shopping- specifically IKEA and easy highway access . I’ve always like the small compact comfortable clean rooms and bathroom. The staff has always been excellent too. Quiet location.

I have always stayed here over the last 6 years and this is the first time that I found the property to have a bad odor and there were many many ants in our room. I had already booked this hotel for September when I visit again and I am regretting it unless they can figure out how to get back to their higher standards.

there aren’t any refrigerators or microwaves in side of the rooms. and the telephones and alarm clocks are not plugged up neither are the hair dryers. smelt sewer the entire time of my stay. had to change rooms 3 times due to housekeeping doing half jobs. sheets weren’t clean

TV didn't work half the time. No linens, ice bucket or cups. Bathroom was filthy and some things haven't been cleaned in a long time. My pictures won't download or you could see just how bad it is.

You probably should just go over to the Charlotte University Place property to see for yourself. But the property needs a huge makeover. Now your prices are low and I was really that surprised, but my room furniture was so old it was almost falling apart. The rod holding the shower curtain was dangling from the wall and really didn’t work. The desk chair cover was peeling so bad, the top of the black chair was white and dirty. Everything was old and overused, yet was cleaned well.

The room was very clean and perfect for my short one night stay. There were rooms available during a very busy time. I got right to my room and quickly went to sleep. Service was very good.

Every year it seems a lil more run down, wished hotel owners put a lil more effort into up keep......was charged more than what my reservations with Booking.com were said to be.
