There weren't toiletries in the room. The housekeeping staff gave us shampoo and conditioner when we asked. I wish there had been umbrellas poolside. I thought the hotel was nice . I think if you updated all of the flooring it would give the hotel a more modern, updated feel. I thought the furnishings, wallcolors, etc were nice, but the spanish tile made the place look dated. I wish there was a casual coffee shop to grab a cup of coffee in the mroning or sit and have a pick up type breakfast or lunch.

Nice facility. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice beach location. I ordered lunch poolside and was very pleased with the food. I thought it was very nice having live music poolside.

I love going out on the beach and sitting with two chairs in an umbrella and the girl there, Jennifer, was very sweet.

Very nice stay! 1st time for me at this property. Room was spotless and unlike others in the area, it had a cooktop and was fully stocked with kitchenware, plates, containers, and silverware. I really enjoyed the "old time" resort / club feel, with porters, valet parking available, beach chair & umbrella service, and onsite restaurant/bar/bands and activities. Had groceries delivered from Instacart - and the hotel even provided storage for my luggage after checkout, as I had an evening flight! I am already making plans to return next year!!!

it was on the cusp of a bad area and there was a shooting the last evening we were there and it was terrifying the first 2 days the lady that runs the pool is a drill Sargent and is against kids and adults having a good time.

We loved the pool, access to the beach and local attractions. The service staff at the pool was amazing! We were especially fond of Lisa at the Islander tiki bar! Finally, you can't beat the location.

Had to pay for parking, the kitchen was kind of hard to cook in The burners took forever to heat up. The shower took 10 to 15 minutes for hot water. The place is nostalgic and I love that, but it needs some updating.

Did not care for the housekeeping staff. I asked that my room NOT BE CLEANED and also had the DO NOT DISTRUB sign on the door while away for breakfast. When I returned they were in my room. I WAS NOT HAPPY and when I mentioned it they got mad at me and were very rude as if it was somehow my fault. On the last day of stay as I was checking out around 10:10 or 10:15, housekeeping kept knocking on door for me to leave room after I had already told them I'm was double checking everything so me and my family didn't leave anything. All three were right outside the door, talking about me and my family and as the 6 of us were trying to leave the room we had to squeeze past them and their carts to get out. It was the most rude thing ever and for this I would be hesitant to return to this location. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT.

still no continental breakfast. our 3rd stay here. and would be nice for some of us to be able and eat a little bagels, snacks coffee etc.

private beach, clean and complete pool with bar, property security person always on the look out, did not get his name but older gentleman looks like he used to be in the force, police or Armed, staff always cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, etc keeping all areas clean. door man courteous, valet parking looking alive and Ready to assist anyone arriving. front desk nice with excellent attitude.

The beach was amazing, all of the workers were very friendly, especially at the tiki bar and the people running the beach chair service are amazing, thank you Mark! The rooms are clean, wish we could have gotten an upgrade when we checked in to see the pool or ocean but none were available.

When we were there, they had elevator problems and the toilet was not draining correctly. They also don't clean the rooms, bringing towels, etc. on the weekends.
