Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Arrived early but missed breakfast. I think the breakfast must have closed around 10 and I arrived just around that time. Not a complaint but something for early arrivals to be aware of.
Room was surprisingly comfortable. Decor was not as fussy as appeared in pics, and the bathroom was a nice size for NYC. Staff was super friendly. Hotel was well located for my work event, but a few blocks outside the typical tourist zone. Walking to restaurants and subway, and easy access to the airports.

Two mornings in a row, the restaurant was out of most of the food, including espresso beans- so no coffee either. The staff tried hard, but the way breakfast was setup also took a long time. Could take 30 minutes to get food.
Staff was friendly. Restaurant had tasty food. Overall, it was quiet. Nice lobbies.

Water pressure.

I didn’t realize that there was a fitness center. I would have appreciated if that was pointed out to me on check in.
The location was perfect to where I needed to be as a central locale. Then room was nice - small- but that’s what I expected. Would be nice to include breakfast- but nice that it is offered. Hotel staff was wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.

I really could not think of one thing.
The staff is awesome. From the bellman, desk staff, housekeepers were professional, intentive, and very welcoming. The restaurant had a great ambiance, and the food and cocktails were a thumbs up.

I didn’t like the fact that the hotel doesn’t offer a proper breakfast as it used to offer before Covid. Also, the restaurant and the Roof are not accessible enough. They should possibly be open during the day or later at night. They are both of excellent quality and it’s a pity that not enough is made of them.

Booking.com assured me there was parking included (which I requested in the filter prior to making the reservation), And wrote there would be no extra charge. I showed that to the manager but the hotel charged $65 nevertheless.

Very basic, considering how much it costed.
The location is good in terms of being close to major sight seeing but it’s too close to East Indian communities, which we didn’t feel safe to walk around at night.

WE HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR OUR BREAKFAST. IT IS NOW MORE THAN 40 DAYS AND THE HOTEL IS NOT ISSUING THE REFUND. DISHEARTENING TO NOTE IN THE LEAST. WHILE WE HAVE HAD A PLEASANT STAY AT THE PROPERTY, THIS DISCOURTESY HAS LEFT A VERY BITTER TASTE IN OUR MOUTH.

If you buy a drink inside the hotel you can’t bring it (or your complimentary glass of wine) up to the rooftop. Front desk says you can, but bouncer will Not let you go up in the elevator. Rooftop bar is very expensive.
Location. Comfortable beds, nice sz room. I’ve stayed here half a dozen times, so familiar with the hotel and the area. Rooftop nice in good weather.

The room had water and wine to welcome us. Nice decor. AC worked well. Location was good for our visit with family in the area. We had easy Uber or walks to museums. Restaurant options were nice. We enjoyed the rooftop at night and coffee in the cafe in the morning.

The "resort" fee for high speed wifi that should be included and other services we didn't really use. I would rather that extra fee be added to room price. Total with fees for 2 nights was more like paying for 3 nights at the quoted rate.
