To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It wasn’t awful and didn’t bother us personally that much, but we called to let the office know when we arrived (to ensure they didn’t charge US for smoking in the room) and they already knew about the smoke. Felt like the room should be discounted or something. We’ve stayed here before and the room was completely clean.

United States of AmericaWe requested a room close to an elevator or on the front floor due to my husband not being able to walk far. Our room was on 3rd floor and not near the elevator. The guy at the front desk was not that friendly but the rest of they staff I encountered was.
The location was great for what we needed. I appreciated the light by the rooms so you weren't completely in the dark entering your room there was a nice selection for breakfast to.

It was in a great location 30mins from Westgate entertainment. 15mins from staple center. I booked and canceled three hotels prior to finalizing on this one traveling on a budget trying to find an inexpensive place to stay. This was my final decision and it was perfect. Nothing lavish, basic clean room to take a shower and get ready, staff was friendly. be mindful of peoples time check out at checkout time! There was a little bit of a wait at check-in due to room, not being ready. The staff was pleasant and work hard and is appreciated.

United States of AmericaThe staff could have been more friendly. When I entered 1 staff was checking someone in and another was on the computer (I later found out he was also checking someone in. No one said welcome or we are working on checking in guests we will be with you in a moment. No acknowledgement at all. When it was finally our turn the guy just asked what's the name? No greeting, no welcome, no sorry for the wait. Took my ID and card for the deposit. Then told me it would be about 10 minutes because they had to make sure the room was clean. I was confused. It was 5 and check in time was 3. I thought for sure our room would be ready by this time. Then when it was ready they called my name, I signed and he told me room 203. No map, no here's how you get here, didn't tell me about breakfast or where anything was. I had to ask where is this room. Then it was an answer of its right here in that building. No one ever apologized for the wait or gave an explanation as to why we had to wait. It seemed as though the staff didn't really want to talk to anyone. Even in the morning for breakfast, no one ever said good morning as we walked by the desk. Just seems like the staff needs some training in guest services and how to be friendly to guests and make them feel welcome.
Room was great. My room had a little kitchenette with a full refrigerator, one bedroom and a sofa with a pullout bed and 2 tvs. It was perfect for my 2 kids and I. The pool and hottub were nice. The breakfast had a nice spread. There was eggs, potatoes, sausage, bagels, muffins, make your own waffle, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee. We only stayed 1 night but overall we're happy with our stay

Check in was fast and easy, the property was nice and clean, big parking lot, staff was nice and helpful. The room smelled a bit like pee so I had to go and buy febrezze that was my only issue. Breakfast was good.
