Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaRooms smelled bad and were dingy/dirty. Door in 1 room was very loud scraping when opening/closing. Bathroom door in 1 room had the lock removed and replaced by a plastic dixie cup. I booked 2 rooms with 2 beds for 4 adults, got 1 room with 2 beds and 1 room with 1 bed....when I went to ask about the error, instead of apologizing for the mistake immediatly and offering a solution, Keith, the general manager, argued with me and said I booked incorrectly...then pulled up the reservation and saw it was indeed his mistake and just looked at me for a solution to which I replied asking simply for bedding for the pullout.
The gentleman that greeted us was pleasant and helpful.

United States of AmericaWebsite is out of date and unable to connect with a front desk person until calling 3 times. They also only mentioned check-in was at the adjacent hotel due to lobby construction during the phone call that I made to them. If I didn’t call ahead we would have never known where to get a key card or what to do.

Found out through another guest to register at nearby Marriott for keys. Should of had sign or email with this information. Check out at 11 am but housekeeping entered room at 9 am without knocking .

United States of AmericaWould be nice if there was a sign on the door to check in at the hotel next door. The lobby smelled like disgusting cleaner. The rooms smelled like stale cigarettes and disgusting cleaner. Rugs looked to be like 40 years old. Walls are paper thin. It just felt gross in general.

United States of AmericaThe room had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our check-in. For example, neither the trash in the main room or the trash in the bathroom had been emptied, and the trash in the bathroom contained very pungent used women's hygiene products. Furthermore, there was a large stain on the kitchenette countertop that was obviously the result of the previous occupant having spilled coffee. And the coffee machine still contained the remnants of the previous occupant's coffee. There was also a large area of wet carpet around the refrigerator that was obviously being caused by condensation from the refrigerator. And the within the microwave there was a large puddle of what looked to be some sort of liquid egg product all over the rotating glass plate. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The Rosemont Suites used to be a fairly decent place to stay, but it now seems that the adjacent Courtyard hotel (which is responsible for management of the property) is not maintaining even a basic level of cleanliness within the Rosemont Suites.
The price was affordable. The room was spacious.

The bed sheets are always can but everything else had to be wrap down alot this time. Yes I'm a regular. The manager Mike is also gone and it felt funny

United States of AmericaTucked back behind another hotel. Dark entrance
They were nice and gave us the handicap room, no elevator. There must be a problem with the floor boards on the room above. There were loud creaks from 11pm when we got in, until 2am. Then 5 am until about 8am. It was so bad I taped it on 3 videos. Told the staff and he kept repeating I will investigate bus refuse to discuss refund of any type. He had been kind but turned rude. Room was not cheap over $200. Good in a pinch but will not do it again con’s out weigh the pros.
