One thing to note that it's right next to a light rail stop, which is great if you want to be able to take the train into downtown or any sports stadiums! But that also means that you will hear the train horn LOUD and clear, so bring some earplugs if you want to sleep late.

I went into this stay knowing that this isn't the most fancy hotel, basically managing my expectations. Because of that, my experience was really good! The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfy, and the A/C unit did a good job cooling (was worried because the room was pretty big). It was nice having a mini-fridge and microwave so I didn't have to get takeout for every meal. I was in town to move my stuff out of a storage unit, so I appreciated that the parking lot was fenced in (had to keep some belongings in my car). Maybe I didn't get free breakfast or an exercise room, but it was a safe and comfortable stay in the exact location I needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Just the noise at times but that is out of the control of the staff.

The locations is a bit loud with the commuter train going by, but overall the Scott meets my needs when I visit my son at U of H. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very nice.

The bed was a little firm for my taste but I was able to manage. The window unit was a little confusing but I made it work. The place in general seemed old and could've used some updates. Decent amount of cracks in the walls can be a little concerning for some people.

There was nearby food for when I needed to do orders and the gas station was close enough to get supplies I needed. The room was a good size and pretty cozy, the couch was awesome. I was told the area was dangerous but I honestly didn't get that vibe at all in the 2 days I stayed. The tv in my room was in excellent shape too, clear picture and good channels to go to sleep to. Most hotels have the worst tvs possible. Oh and the blackout curtains were incredible, I woke up thinking it was 9am and it was actually 12:15pm.

Nothing about the place was bad, although if you are looking for anything within walking distance there is only 1 fast food restaruant nearby and a gas station. So I would say, book another location if are planning to hoof it around near where you are staying, it's very sparse for at least a few blocks at the time of writing this review. 10/23

The room was spacious and very tidy. The decor is a little out dated but still looks nice and the microwave and minifridge is great as well. A trolley passes nearby but it was still quiet and a nice stay.

The hotel isn’t in the nicest area of town. Wouldn’t recommend traveling alone after dark. Restaurants and groceries are not within close walking distance. Parking lot is well lit, but wouldn’t leave any valuables in cars.

Room had a very good AC system in the summer. Hotel is extremely close to the public transit system. Cleaning service visits every day. King size bed, large television, and a decent shower with hot water.

The bed is a bit firm but not really a problem- im used to a soft bed at home. Neighborhood is a bit rough but the complex is well lit at night and didnt experience any issues.

The location was good, for my purposes, but it was right by a train track. There was a lot of train noise through the night. I would recommend ear plugs!

I travel with earplugs,because I ALWAY end up next to the loudest kids in the motel,but he offered me some because of the lite rail,that was not bad for me,but if your a lite sleeper

Outside the property the location is as a little sketchy. I definitely would not walk around outside the property lines. Train could be heard right outside as it passes right on the same street as property but it honestly wasn’t bothersome for me.

Zero issues with the property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean, loved it had no carpet, air temp was nice and cool. I feel for the price, this property was great!

It is loud with a frequent train/train horn at all hours of the night. Not a good choice if you’re a light sleeper.

I’m always hesitant booking rooms that aren’t big name hotels because I’ve had some bad experiences… but this turned out great! Rooms are clean. Staff was nice. Nothing fancy but a good value for the price. Close to a metro stop, had an easy time getting around.
