The cleanliness of the grounds and pool area was questionable. Looks worn and not very clean. The restaurant took well over a half an hour to get our food. But the staff was nice.

The Bellman and Valet, Taylor, was very good to us. We loved him and he made our stay. We had Josh the last day only but he was very personable and accommodating too.

Had to do laundry durning our stay which required 2 different elevators, a trip through the lobby, and up 2 floors and then had to pay for it. A little overpriced.

My room was on ground level, courtyard side, but was also next to the driveway. It was very noisy late at night -- a family shouting at each other at 11:30 PM for an extended period and a motorcoach with back-up beepers going off at midnight.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They did not receive my reservation through Booking.com, despite my having a confirmation number, so they recreated the reservation in their system that matched my Booking reservation. I also arrived very early before check-in time and they were able to get me in a room, so I could get ready for a funeral.

We had 2 rooms and requested that the housekeeping staff make up the rooms every day. You have to request that at check in or it doesn’t happen. One of our rooms was only cleaned once even after requesting 3 different times. Given how high the daily rates are, we shouldn’t have to ask for our room to be cleaned. Using Covid and “we’re very busy” as excuses isn’t acceptable at these rate’s especially after repeated requests to clean the rooms. Also, during this very busy time it would have been nice to have food and beverage service at the pool. It’s a simple thing that just makes your stay more memorable.

Should have been credited for the 27.01 I used for breakfast toward the $30.00 credit I was told went with my room when I checked in.

Breakfast was ok. It did the job. Nothing special. I was told when I checked in that my reservation had a $30.00 credit to use during my stay at the hotel and to just charge it to my room and I would receive a credit. I used the credit for breakfast on Sunday and charged it to my room. My credit card on file was charged and I was never credited for the $27.01 I used for breakfast. I paid the tip in cash. Maybe I should have mentioned it when I checked out to receive the credit.

The one minor issue was there was a little toothpaste on the bathroom wall, above the sink, from a previous guest.

The thermostat in the room is completely non-intuitive - could NOT figure it out, and I've been staying in hotels for 40+ years! When we called the front desk, they said an "engineer" had to go make adjustments to turn the heat on (our room was 65 F when we arrived with no apparent way to turn on the heat). Room service was delivered NOT on a tray with real plates, stainless cutlery, etc. It was delivered in boxes in a bag with plastic cutlery - WAY below what I would expected for what they charge. Television setup makes it nearly impossible to connect ones own streaming device -- I'm sure there's a way but I ran out of patience trying.
