I booked a king sized room, but none were available so was put into a queen/double room. The clerk said that what was sent to them from booking.com but I clearly reserved a king. She said I should have booked directly with the property. In that case they should be on the booking.com site.

The parking area. It rained each night. The spot we had at the left edge of the lot was always flooded on the grass and onto the asphalt area.

The Lion was close to the beach.

The occupants upstairs were heavy footed and were pacing during the night, 11-2, frequently stomping over my head

We had the King deluxe room with privet balcony. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We also took advantage of the pool.

Nothing, really. Everything was to our liking.

Our room was cozy and comfortable and very clean. Staff was very helpful - when we needed to book another room last minute for our son, they made it happen with no problems. For that I am very grateful! I will definitely come here again if I get back to Gloucester! Thank you!

The only think I could think of would be to offer breakfast at 6:30 for the early birds.

Location was great. Didn't take advantage of the breakfast. Wasn't served until 7:30. We were up and out by that time. The room was very clean and the lady who checked us in was very friendly. Good location.

Extra hook in bathroom

Bed very comfortable. Room carpet new and all furniture well taken care of. Breakfast was adequate with muffins, yogurt, juice and tasty coffee.

I thought we might be able to see the beach from the location, but there were woods in between.

Nicely set up against beautiful woods and giant stones. Pool is heated and clean, parking was easy. Super comfy beds and good sized rooms. Great air conditioning.

We stayed in the motel (not cottages). The interior felt like a typical motel with dirty walls, hardware not working, minimal shampoo, bad lighting. Maybe it was all a bit tired because it’s nearing the end of tourist season? I think we expected more based on the reviews and the price, so it was fairly disappointing. Pool closes aggressively at 8:50 pm, ha! P.S. Visitors might find it useful to know that Gloucester beaches are only accessible to non-residents by advance reservation during high season.

Plunge pool was popular with the kids. New carpet was pleasant, coffee in the lobby was good. Appreciated all the outdoor tables!

Location was great with access to good restaurants. It was in a quiet and well-kept area. The small, but complete continental breakfast was perfect for our travel needs.

I would have liked softer pillows. There is ice and a microwave in a little room near the pool. I would like a microwave in the rm. All staff were very accomadating. However on the day we were leaving I felt that one housekeeper was trying to rush us out of the room in the morning, so the room could be cleaned.

Continental breakfast included all the essentials. Coffee was appreciated. Liked that there were little bistro tables and chairs. My family enjoyed the outdoor pool, which is kept at 80°F. There were tables with umbrellas and lounge chairs, as well as towels for guests' use. No bathroom at the pool. Enjoyed the chairs and balcony outside our door.
