but the cleaners were not thorough. They did a shoddy job. I killed a big insect the size of a cricket on my first night. Hotel needs fumigation.

They were doing construction on the location at the end we were staying in. Not that I didn’t like the property, parking was just inconvenient and a couple of other things. But overall it was nice.

They double charged me. I paid booking.com then Sheraton charged me again. I’ve had to call twice and the email sent isn’t processing the information. So now I have to go to the bank and prove the transaction to them.

The room was spacious, clean and pretty. The staff was friendly and let me change rooms to a better view.

Location for check in, handicapped parking obstructed and getting into check in was a disaster. Only ONE guy at restaurant to serve food and work the bar on Friday night. Many guests went to other places close by. Felt bad for the guy working all alone he was swamped! Poor staffing with huge event at the Convention Center for the weekend.

I was disappointed that everything cost extra: the parking was $25/night, so we parked at the street, meals were extra and they didn’t accept Starbucks gift cards inside of the Starbucks there at the hotel.

Restaurant menu is limited/disappointing. The use of single use plastic and cardboard cups and glasses is disappointing, and not what you expect for a Sheraton. Surely it is possible to provide at least a couple of glass drinking glasses!

Good location near the lovely older part of the city, the water gardens, and convenient to get to the cultural precinct an easy 2+ miles away.

We got trapped in the elevator a few times and there were a lot of confused guests because not everyone got the message that you needed to scan your room key for the elevators to work. we were there for the Texas State UIL cheer championship, so it was very busy. perhaps a sign by the elevator would have helped? we had to go rescue some girls that got into the elevator without their keys and then couldn’t get off or to their floor as they didn’t have their key

We were on the 12th floor and the window overlooked the bus and train station. We took the bus to the Zoo and it worked great. The train to the airport was very good and economical.

The kings suit was amazing. We enjoyed the room. The bathroom was quite small for the size room. But I know there’s not much you do about that. But the air conditioner didn’t get as cold as I would prefer
