Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaCheck-in at 4 is too late. If someone flies into town in the morning, they have to wander for half a day before resting and collecting themselves. Also everyone I met was confused by the elevator system.
Great staff, great amenities, clean rooms.

United States of AmericaIt was not stated clearly that there is only valet parking. I was directed to the mall parking and had to carry my things a long distance to the hotel. After dropping my things off, I walked back to get my car and pulled it around to Sheraton valet.
The hotel lobby was beautiful. The rooms were easy to access. Great location. Room service was great.

United States of AmericaWas given room not quoted on booking (a 2 queen instead of 1 king). Hidden fees on top of resort fee which was already paid for through booking reservations. Destination fee per day was charged separate and if you didn’t use it on your stay, it was non refundable. Was notified of the valet fee on booking but hotel charged more than what booking stated. One of the outlets in our room did not work and found nail polish? (i hope and not blood) on wall and near lightswitch in bathroom by mirror outlet. So overall an inconsistent stay. I’ve had better at nicer.
Very accommodating staff and surrounding areas were great to visit.

United States of AmericaBooking the hotel in LA Downtown was a terrible idea. I still can't get used to homeless people who do drugs at the corner of the street and all these disgusting smells. So sorry to write something like this, because Sheraton Hotel was good enough and the environment spoiled our stay in some way. Although Sheraton's location and surroundings are way better then some conditions at the Hollywood Boulevard and its neighborhood.

United States of AmericaElevators can be confusing if it’s your first time staying here. Also didn’t love how there was only either a breakfast hours or dinner hours to order room service.
Loved how close it was to Crypto arena. Came to stay for KCON 2023, and it was very comfortable.

United KingdomWell where do I start? Fees - The district fee, Occupancy tax, LATMD assessment (whatever the heck this is), destination fee, and CA tourism assessment fee !!!!!!! This is shocking! The price for the room should be an all inclusive price, In the UK you can stay in a travelodge and get all the same facilites in the room without all these extra taxes and the price you see is the price you pay. Just shocking for Los Angeles!
The room was a good size and had a very comfortable bed. We liked having a fridge in the room along with coffee making facilites. Albeit no tea bags!
