We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI was told my room was available at 3:00pm. Got there and it wasn’t ready. Parts of the hotel was hot. Bartender in the dining area was ok. We waited 15 mins, before he took our order. I paid for the meal with my debit card and tipped him just being nice. The food was not worth the price. Next day after leaving the hotel, I was charged for the room again and the meal was some how charged to the hotel room. How? Very disappointed and frustrated!

United States of AmericaWe didn't have a visit from housekeeping throughout a 3 night stay. We had to go and get clean towels. Also, the complementary coffee in reception disappeared before 9:45 am on the weekend. It was much better than the Starbucks packs in the room (which we used and also had to go and ask for more of).
The room was clean and comfortable, a little shabby in places but hotel rooms are used hard by most guests. It didn't detract from the comfort. Staff were very helpful and polite; little things such as housekeeping calling the elevator for me when I had my hands full. Location is excellent if you don't want to be directly downtown (we didn't; we chose the area my husband grew up in). We were in town to bury my father in law, and all the things like iron, board, hairdryer, that you need when getting ready, were to hand.

United States of AmericaMy very first interaction was the front desk when I checked in. The girl that waited on me was sullen to the point of rudeness. She wouldn't make eye contact, talked so quietly that I had to keep asking her to speak up, didn't smile even one time. My son was checking in at the same time. His clerk greeted him with a smile and was very pleasant. Mine was horrible and shouldn't be a front desk person.
the room was nice but not nearly nice enough for the money. Very expensive room.

United States of AmericaI booked a King bed with a sofa bed, when arriving to our room it was 2 double beds. I went down to the desk to explain I booked a king bed with a sofa bed- they told me they didn't have any left and this was the best they could do. The staff was rude and did not accommodate. No refund or room adjustment- we made do uncomfortably. Outside pool was also pretty cold.
The location was great and I loved how everything was connected. Beds were comfy and room was clean.

United States of AmericaThe staff at check in was horribly rude and unprofessional. The premises was not upkept. There was snow that morning, and the sidewalks and parking lot were not shoveled. The door leading into lobby was broken.

I thought it was included in stay and wasnt. Wish there was an closer indoor pool and way to get to outdoor pool without the stairs.

United States of AmericaI didn't like that we were told we could swim till 10 p.m. and an employee came to pool at like 8:45 and said we had to get out that management was closing it. We were the only ones in the pool area and I did pick all the towels up earlier and trash the guest left behind and straightened patio furniture up.

United States of AmericaThe lobby was beautiful but the room while clean was not updated. Carpet was dirty with stains and the rollout we requested never arrived. Also, we had to turn off the thermostat as it was stuck on cold AND we got locked out of the room cuz our key cards quit working when we went to have breakfast. Tile floor in the room was broken. For $300 bucks we expected a way better room. We could have gone to Ameristar for less than $200...next time we prob will.

United States of AmericaWe weren’t able to stay in the room we booked because “it wasn’t clean”. Offered me another room with two twin beds instead of one king bed for my boyfriend and I. The room also didn’t have a view of the lake or garden and the wi-fi was horrible. So we couldnt use any of our streaming services. The room wasnt worth what I paid for and shouldve been given a difference between the two. It was really inconvenient. Why post a room online and make it available to book and receive payment then the guest arrive and its not ready and not promised the room?
In Westport Plaza. Great bar and dining area. Lake and waterfall was pretty.

I young lady at check in decides to wait until she takes my money and runs my credit card to tell me that there are no more rooms with King size beds as I had reserved. I asked her why she did not tell me that before placing a hold on my credit card. She said that it was company policy to get me checked in first. The racket is get my money and even if you have to refund it the funds are with the hotels until released by my bank. I guess if you do that enough times you'd have half a million in deposit interest........... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

United States of AmericaFirst impression - I was checking in, and the host gives me 1 breakfast ticket (We were staying in a room for 4 adults - how is that only 1 breakfast can be booked!) Its common sense. And I had to check my booking and show it to her, and then I get the tickets for the rest of the family. I requested for a crib in the room for my 9mo old baby 3 days ahead. I was told it will be arranged for - Finally i get to see that there is no crib. I was not even told that I wont be getting one at the reception. Once I call, the lady at the office says she needs to check yet! that is so dumb! She get backs to me in an hour time and says she doesn't have one! Was rude enough to speak that way. I ask her if there was an option, she says she cant see one! that's totally insensitive! that was for a baby! how can somebody be so insensitive and she doesn't speak anything else, just stays on phone for my response! I again thought of it, and asked If i can get a rolling bed, she says she will see and tells me, I will get one. Finally I got some extra towels and NO BED AT ALL!. I ask for water, the lady at the reception says they don't provide me with any bottled water. Not even a touch of kindness in the tone. Refrigerator had an unattended cookie left inside. I asked to send somebody to check on that! no response on that. During these COVID-times I expected some cleanliness. At least from a very prestigious chain of hotels like SHERATON! I was totally disappointed!!!!!! Patio doors dint seem cleaned at all. Overall, a very disappointed experience after paying 180USD for a room from one of the highly prestigious group of hotels!
Breakfast and the hotel guys were the best part of the whole stay! They were so so sensitive and caring and adorable! respect you guys for that! Cheers to you!
