This is a hidden gem in the southwest Portland area. It isn't right on a freeway, but it's close enough. The property has been around for decades, but it has been updated so you wouldn't know that from looking. It has a nice little bar too.

The parking lot has narrow driving lanes and some areas can be tough to navigate without hitting other cars when the hotel is full and people have large vehicles.

The staff are very nice. Nicole, the manager, was awesome. She really went out of her way to help me with a booking issue.

In preparing the room quickly, it seemed that the bathroom floor hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned.

I decided to change rooms, and the room I wanted was quickly made up.

The shower curtain could have been longer or a better quality. The floor seemed to get very wet when we showered and water got everywhere.

The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice. I loved the water pressure in the shower! The staff was friendly and kind. We also had a wonderful breakfast before we left. There were many options to choose from!

Our room was close to the road. Next time, we will get a room away from the road and near the pond. The sound of the fountain would be soothing.

We had a comfortable room with two queen beds. The shower was large and we liked the heat lamp in the bathroom. The breakfast was nice. The pool is lovely.

There was too much plastic usage e.g. the breakfast cutlery was plastic.

I liked that this motel is outside of Portland, so it seems much safer and you don‘t have junkies/homeless people around. Supermarkets and the train are closeby, so perfect for a roadtrip stop.

I think you should focus more on renewable and reusable sustainable products in the room. 

The landscaping is very beautiful and mature. Impossible to replace! That to me, is your very best asset.

Breakfast was typical fare, not bad, but not our preferred. Parking and navigation was not immediately clear or close to room.

The central fountain was excellent white noise. Double king room was spacious and comfortable, staff were all very helpful and friendly. Pool was very good place to relax.

No elevators. Climbing stairs was required to get our room, AND down to the breakfast room.

Clean facilities. Restaurant onsite serving fantastic ribeye steaks. Best breakfast spread I've seen in years. Nice view of the pond and fountain from our king room.

The bed was not as comfortable as it looked on your advertisement, but we survived it . The property was difficult for us to get around with all the stairs and the first time we left our room to get dinner we got lost because there were no signs pointing to the lobby, which meant we climbed even more stairs than necessary. We both have limited mobility, and this property is really not equipped to handle that, and it was not just the stairs. Walking around to get to anything was out of the question with all the inclines of the paths. Anytime we wanted to get to the lobby area, we actually had to drive around the facility to get there.

The room was mostly comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at any hotel we have stayed at. Your staff were very friendly and professional.

I reserved a handicapped accessible room and it was not for handicapped. When I checked in I wasn’t given my key cards and needed to go back in for them. This visit was disappointing all around. Note: the availability of the breakfast room made it difficult for us to access.

Improve the breakfast prep a little bit

It met my expectations but my last BW stay was a Plus so the breakfast had more options. But, the bar/dining exceeded my expectations. Most of all the Fitness center is one of the best I’ve visited. Pelaton and other new equipment really made my stay great.

The halls carpet really needs to be cleaned, and the new rooms with wood flooring is great but they need to be mopped not just dusted, our feet were black so bring slippers. Also our room needed an armchair.
