Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur initial room did not have any view and I did not realize some rooms were a little more secluded.
View from our room was incredible. The complementary shuttle into Sedona was very nice and easy to use. Larry the driver is AMAZING!

United States of AmericaNothing -- we loved it!
We loved the sunset views, nearby hikes, shuttle to downtown. The location was perfect, and the hotel was great! The rooms were large, pleasant, and clean. We appreciate the refrigerator for sodas and food.

United States of AmericaNothing…We had an issue with the air conditioner but it was fixed immediately! The maintenance man was next door, and we mentioned it to him and he fixed it while we were gone!
We enjoyed being away from the crowds, the view in back to see the sunset, the patio, and the shuttle service!

United States of AmericaSecond floor rooms only assessable by staircase. Next to an airport and there is a bit of small aircraft and helicopter noise during the day. No restaurant on site but there is one within a 10 minute stroll. Restaurant is not great and expensive. Many wonderful restaurant options a few miles away.
Property is located at the top of a hill which provides views of surrounding area Well kept grounds. Staff is helpful and they provide a shuttle within 5 miles. Beer and wine served at a small patio bar. Our room was very comfortable with a small kitchen fireplace, eating table and balcony.

CanadaNo where on site to get a meal. If you don’t have a car to drive back into Sedona the only option is the Mesa Grill a couple minutes walk, however you need a reservation as they were usually fully booked.
Beautiful setting up in the hills. Absolute best view of the Sedona sunset. Lodges are scattered throughout idyllic gardens for a totally relaxing experience.

United States of AmericaFelt like wedding parties were more important guests. No place to lounge if the weather was bad, and it was on Friday night. Need a game room or gym, maybe?

United States of AmericaUnfortunately, a hot tub repair immediately outside our room occurred for two days which turned a garden view room into a construction zone view room. On the plus side, the crew did an excellent job of keeping the area clean every day. A resort this size requires maintenance and the general manager keeps the facility in good condiiton.
The location was ideal, above the busy city with outstanding views. The daily happy hour on the patio in the botanical gardenw was a highlight. Hiking trailheads were in walking distance as was the Mesa Grille restaurant.

The view was amazing! We spent three nights in the king cottage with an unobstructed view. We enjoyed eating on the patio and the size of the unit. The bed was comfortable and the cottage was clean. It has a freezer, refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave. We walked to Mesa Grill for dinner one night. Dinner reservations are required at Mesa Grill and the food was very good. There is trail access from Sky Ranch Lodge. This is our favorite place to stay in Sedona.
