To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomA bit of a mix up with prebooked taxis but apologies given right away. The TV in the room was broken and took a couple of goes to get it fixed but wasn't a big issue. It's a bit remote for tourists and more info on the free trolleys would have been useful but we got there in the end!
Denise the manager was great and nothing was too much trouble. There's a free breakfast which was a good surprise. The room was clean and well equipped, the pool was clean and there were plenty of places to sit in the sun.

Loved the gym. Small but clevery equipped, great air conditioning, water, towels, all that you need. Two treadmills, one elliptical trainer, one bike, weights, and an abds bench. Room was modern, clean and spacious enough. The bathroom was large and quite new. The facilities overall were modern and well.kept.

ArgentinaBreakfast was ok but not great. Some days it was better than others, but it was particularly short on the green/healthy side. Not a big problem anyway.
The room was well designed, with good quality furniture and nicely arranged. The air conditioner worked well, bathroom was very good with new appliances. The shower was great. What i liked most was the gym (they call it Excercise Room I think), with two fine treadmill machines, a walker, a bicycle and some weights. Simple, but had all what is needed, with grest air conditioning, water supply, towels, etc. It made the difference. The laundry was very useful and practical. Location is great too, if you want to be in Doral. Several restaurants on the same place, a gas station, all made our stay easier.

ColombiaThe do the housekeeping every other day and not daily as most of hotels. So if you are staying 2 nights they won’t even make your bed or change towels. Also, they were out of hot water temporarily so I wasn’t able to shower my newborn daughter who was traveling with me.
I really liked the room size and the comfy beds and pillows. The hotel facilities are new.

United States of AmericaThe front desk staff is rude, they don't see your face while you are talking to them. They don't respond to your greeting or thank you. This is a Marriot chain hotel. They should treat the people friendly and with courtesy
