Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A little difficult to find because there is no signage near the road it is off of, and no sign showing entrance drive. Only grab and go breakfast due to Covid restrictions so had to find an off site restaurant for breakfast.
Quiet location next to a great place to eat. Also got a discount on our meal when we showed our room card.

Wish there had been breakfast, but COVID stopped that.
Location was close to our event and restaurants and bars. Room was clean and comfortable. Lady at check in was super friendly and nice.

Breakfast was a mini grab bag (old roll, 6/8 oz water, broken granoila bar). Drank the water and threw the rest in the garbage. Did not watch the TV, but it seemed undersized. No light switches for bed area, lighting was overall dim in the room. Entry and bath had switches, that was it. Parking lot had broken glass in the lot area and there was a steady stream of smokers at the entry door every time I used the main Front exit area.
Room had good A/C and toilet was working. Bed sheets were clean, desk area and chair were large enough to do paper work.

Small parking lot.

When we stay in St. Charles, MO, this is where we stay because its central for us. also it is what we like in a motel. The rooms are always maintained and inviting.

There was a ton of marijuana smoke/smell throughout the hallway every day of our stay. Pretty awesome having to explain that reek to the kids - it was really surprising (and disappointing) that the staff didn't put a stop to it... especially since we were in a non-smoking room.
Friendly helpful staff, room was clean and thankfully didn't smell. Good location right off the highway for easy access to lots of places

I tried 10 times to cancel and Super 8 never responded. And Booking.com was useless. I have lost all faith in Booking.com as they appear to offer zero service and support compared to previous experiences over the past decade. Their answer is "read the terms and conditions". Seems to be no reason to ever use Booking.com ever again. Just book directly with the hotels. My father has Alzheimer's and was having a decline. My Mom went to the ER so couldn't watch him that weekend. I attempted to cancel my trip but they just kept my money and never responded with anything other than to complete this useless survey.

Looked like drug deals going on in the parking lot by people did not feel safe to wander from the room to go get something to eat. Had to request like the basics such as towels bath mats etc. Dead cricket on the bathroom floor.

I reserved an ADA accessible room King suite ground floor. I was told my room had to be upgraded, charged more to my card and lost King bed as well as ADA accessibility. I was unable to sleep unable to function this morning. Ruined an amazing weekend.
