We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThere was a lot of false advertisement and old pictures of the hotel that weren’t up to date. They showed a jacuzzi in the picture but it wasn’t there. Also they showed the rooms with microwave and refrigerator but when we arrived we apparently had to request it ahead of time. The food we brought went bad because we had to wait another day for the refrigerator. They also showed paddle boats we could rent but no one was managing it. The restaurant that they showed in the picture was also abandoned. They were really short staffed and our rooms balcony was dirty.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is run down. It has so much potential but there hasn't been any attempt to do anything in awhile it seems. Outside our room there was a big hole in the ceiling. Inside the room the smoke detector was hanging from wires out of the ceiling, the sink in the bathroom was cracked, the drain in the tub was pulled out and sitting on the edge, the popcorn ceiling in the bedroom area was peeling or missing in big patches, and the mattress was an old spring one with a dip that left my back killing me in the morning.
The location is extremely convenient for a visit to Old Sturbridge Village as well as restaurants to have a meal at. The view from our room was nice as well with a balcony looking towards the water.

Facility is under private ownership now, they are in the midst of remolding an older facility,lack of staff is really hurting them ,like a lot of companies these days.This is a great place with a lot of amenities.Given they are updating it,is an ongoing process.

United States of AmericaCould not open our sliding glass door, air conditioner did not work, breakfast only available on the weekends, restaurant was closed, pool and hot tub were closed, no refrigerator or microwave in the room, elevator was out of order, short staffed.
Easy to get to from the highway, beds were comfortable, nice size room, grounds were very nice.

United States of AmericaThe room was located so far from the parking lot that we had to carry our luggage clear across the vast layout of the complex. The elevator didn’t work so we further had to trudge up back stairs to get to the room. The room was very dated. The furnishings were worn and the cushion on the chair was stained. The woodwork in general was worn and chipped in places. The bath/shower combo was worn and wallpaper was peeling.
The price was good.

United States of AmericaThe hotel room was not clean and extremely dated. The pool was closed and that was disappointing for the kids. The elevator was stuck and I had a clogged toilet and the staff was less than helpful. It was not a great experience.
The location of the hotel is great. There was a lot around and I was with a big group. The rooms were situated around the pool which was great for the kids.
