Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room had a dirty fan with no face on the fan and a space heater because the room heat didn't work. The guest phone didn't work .
That front desk offer me a free up graded room.

The tub was dirty bees in the eves of the building trash everywhere on back entrance 1 towel no soap there was a hole in the walls the ac unit didn't work and I was told by owner to let it run 3 hrs and it will be cold it was 105 degrees today and 90 at night no air conditioner at all worst stay ever
The room was dirty holes in the wall debris everywhere trash steps weak this building should be closed until all repairs are done

The room was dirty. The floor was unbalanced. The pillows were dirty. And it smelled. Had used condoms in the night stand. Had mold on the shower curtain. And had no toilet paper. Charged extra when it never said that very misleading. Never gave back deposit.

Place was dirty, smelly, no wash cloths, no toilet paper. Brown water & dirt started coming out of the faucet when I went to take a shower. Not worth the money. I don’t recommend

The towels were stained. I use my own wash cloth to dry my body. The microwave oven didn't work.
The location is nice and is very close to Atlantic City. Breakfast was not available.

The room had an old like smell to it (but wasn’t unbearable). There was someone’s leftover trash behind the chair (soda bottle) which made me question was the sheets even changed, was the room actually wiped down and cleaned? So with those questions, I forgot my cleaning spray, and was nervous about sitting on the toilet (so I squatted, lol). That was minor… the ONLY bad thing I would say was a roach ran across the floor when we woke up, SO THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY do some exterminating, so for the price for the day $129 (not including taxes $162) … I didn’t expect any unwanted little visitors.
The staff were amazing, price was extremely high for one night… but yet it was the cheapest (by $20) in the area.

EVERYTHING Extremely Extremely Filthy and disgusting
NOTHING !!! Filthy disgustingly dirty horrible smell in room the bathtub/shower was covered with some kind of flaky brown debris toilet was not properly cleaned and noticeable signs of old harden feces on inner brim of bowl. A cluster of old dead bugs were seen through the vanity light cover, all wall mounted lights not operational. OVERALL TOTALLY DISGUSTING … someone else’s junk/trash left in the drawers garbage on the floor , poorly maintained , paint on walls chipping and not properly applied or matched , in my opinion hotel should be shut down and condemned. My first and last stay will never opt to stay at this location ever again !

I should have known there was a big problem. While walking up the stairs to the room. There were two roaches on the steps who welcomed me. They must have followed me because I Woke up to a roach crawling on me in the bed. The front desk staff was so kind to give me a big can of roach spray. The tub was filthy. I had to take a bird bath. We blew a fuse using the microwave. Mixed matched furniture. The key cards didn't work. The curtain were hung by thumb tacks. Overall the accommodation were the worst ever for me.
Nothing. The location was to far from Atlantic City. That's what I get for being cheap. you get what you pay for. You can't put a price on comfort.
