To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

CanadaPricing!! The price of the breakfast buffet was horrendous and the stations were not replenished. The egg station was not refilled in the whole time we were there!! At that price all stations should be replenished regularly
Beautiful area, great location, free shuttle to Seaworld was great. Being able to leave our luggage was helpful too. Nate was very helpful and friendly

When we checked in, I was asked if we booked thru an outside vendor and the suggested that their website also had deals. It felt like the room assigned was directly related to how room was booked.

United States of AmericaRoom was small - good thing we were barely in it! The beds were also spring mattresses and kind of uncomfortable for one with a back issue. Most frustrating is the air conditioner in the bathroom. We used the AC and it sucked getting out of the shower to walk out into the freezing AC blast. Airflow in the room wasn't good enough with the windows open and the unit fan, so I could see the room being stuffy in summertime.
Prime location was great for Legoland to the North, the Zoo to the southeast, and Mission Beach in biking distance. Property is lovely with a great view of the marina, central pool and restaurant. Room had a small fridge but ample closet and dresser space, plus a nice double sink. Huge TV was great for chill time before bed.

United States of AmericaParking charge of $35 wasn't stated on the website or on my reservation, as far as I could see. Lots of free parking in the surrounding area, so I don't think the charge was justified. The electric outlet for the bedside lamp didn't work consistently--had to jiggle it multiple times to get the lamp to work. Coffee from the coffee make in the room was terrible! Pillows were enormously fat and stiff.
Convenient location to where we needed to be. Pleasant grounds. Fairly quiet overnight, though some noise in the evening from other guests. Fridge and microwave were useful since no breakfast was included.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant was adequate with regard to food quality, but with all the amazing restaurants in San Diego, that isn’t an issue. That being said, our server was super friendly and offered great suggestions for our visit.
The location was wonderful for us. It isn’t in the heart of the city but is easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was comfortable and clean. Our room on the garden and overlooking the marina was very pleasant even though we couldn’t be outside during all of the rainstorms.

Very friendly staff to start. The room overall was very clean and smelled very pleasant. Didn’t have that odd hotel scent. Great walking area around the marina to walk pets. Beautiful location, marina view & delicious restaurant/bar. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely coming back with family. I usually dont leave reviews but this was such a pleasant surprise. The staff is doing a great job at maintaining this place.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant had very slow service and was a little on the pricey side, but the food was good. The itinerary also mentioned that one of the pools was closed for maintenance, but that wasn't true. The towel situation at the main pool was confusing, and I was worried as it said we'd be charged $25 a towel.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Dana. The pools/hot tubs were a big hit with my 8 year old. We loved the location, and the grounds were just beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter also enjoyed the dive in movies!! The shuttle to Sea World was convenient, and our driver, Duncan, was awesome!
