-There was no phone in the room. -Nothing on Booking.com about providing a deposit, which wasn’t an issue, but would have been nice to know. - Checking out of the hotel was dreadful, the receptionist left to go and run errands so no one was there to check us out. A cleaner said “you can leave your key” I said no I would like someone to check us out as we need to know how our deposit will be returned. The cleaner said as we paid by card the deposit would be returned in 5 working days so we left for the airport. If we had paid in cash we would have to wait for her return, that whole episode was unprofessional leaving the cleaner who was passing to explain this to us. Surely it was still within the check out time, therefore important for someone to be there to assist. - The room had one of those do not disturb on one side and make up room cards, we put that on the door for the room to be made up after two days and it still wasn’t done. When we went down to reception as there was no phone - they explain we need to speak with them as the card is not used. Then why have them in the room - strange

I didn't like the wood bedding's, it was all chopped up looking and ugly. I didn't like how small the rooom was, it was very crammed. I think the price of the room isn't worth it

The prices for the rooftop bar were very high

Great hotel, especially for the price. We walked to/from the hotel to the subway in morning & night, I felt safe every time. The room was a comfortable size and clean.

Noisy air conditioning Fixtures and fittings were good quality but showing signs of wear now Hotel is next to a 'party house', loud music til 4am, luckily we were able to sleep through it due to being so tired

From the start it smelled nice and clean! It’s lovely looking the staff friendly the room was sooooo pretty I loved my deck! Omg the bed super comfy. Btw great shower!

Initially we were given a 6th Floor room but the noise of the Aircon and the rooftop night club were overwhelming. Thankfully the desk clerk changed our room to the 4th floor which was acceptable with regards to the noise.

The hotel room walls are the thinnest I’ve experienced, you can hear just about everything from inside & outside. The worst part is usually any voice can be heard outside from the inside, housekeepers can usually be heard and the hospitality from them did not have meet a hotel’s expectations/standard. The phone line to call the front desk was unavailable at the same unfortunately timing that was checked in. My debit card was lost in the property and I was looking throughout my rooms floor and the timing caught past the check out time and my bank was charged an extra fee from this hotel. The lack of assistance was this stays downfall, along with thin walls and amenities. Although it still captures a New York level of feel, flushing is its own unique culture, and as long as you’re safe you can have fun.

The property is modern and seems lightly new. There is pros and cons however the cons man outweigh the pros.

Beds need to be improved Rooms should have universal sockets where mobile and laptops can be connected. only US and AMerica type sockets are fixed.

Curtains in the shower area had black mold. Clearly the fabric is not water resistant/water proof or made to be in a moisture rich environment. There were bugs all around the rooms all the time. Couldn’t find a menu online for the lounge or bar to decide if we wanted to eat at the hotel one night. Staff couldn’t seem to activate our room keys for more than 24 hours at a time until we specifically asked because it was inconvenient to have to wait for someone to fix it every single night when we returned late from exploring and just wanted to lay down.
