Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur neighbors had 3 dogs and when we opened our door to the balcony one of them came right into our room. I have no problem with pets being allowed in hotels, but believe that that the rooms with pets should be segrgated from those that are pet free.
We were very happy that our room has a balcony for us to go out and watch the solar eclipse. We really enjoyed dinner on the evening of April 8. Our server took excellent care of us. We enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar especially the entertainment. I used to go on vacation there as a child 50 years ago, and it was nice to see that not much has changed. Brought back many wonderful memories. Navy would be proud.

United States of AmericaBathroom toilet/shower space was tight.
Generous size of the room, view of the hills across from inn, restaurant food and staff excellent for both breakfast and dinner, bathroom sink/counter space more than adequate. Even with inn fully booked (eclipse visitors), the parking was plentiful.

United States of AmericaThere was a bit of trash on the floors in the steam room. The sauna was very small and filled with carved graffiti, and we couldn't get into the hot tub because people were in it at all times, but it was a sold out night so I guess it's to be expected.
The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the view from the restaurant was breathtaking!! Dinner the night before was equally wonderful. The pool was great, as was the steam room! Our room was clean, neat and spacious. The bathroom was a little tight, but did the job.

United States of AmericaThere's really nothing (for me anyway) bad about this place.
The T-N-C "as we call it" is a great place to stay. Atv/snowmobile trails are literally in the backyard which is great. Unload in their huge parking lot and take off on the trails. The indoor pool is really nice and clean. Androscoggin Country Club eight across the street, literally the 17th tee box is right there. Their restaurant and food are the best in the area by far. They have a separate bar area too with local live music on the weekends. If you want piece and quite this may not be for you with all the outdoor things to do people stay here for that. But, weather you hike, bike or atv this is the place for you for sure. The staff are phenomenal too.

United States of AmericaTown and Country is big enough to hold your entire group but still feels cozy. We stay here every winter and the staff is always friendly and the rooms are good sized and clean. The pool is a big hit with the younger members of our group. We have had supper in the restaurant in the past and it was always very good too. Listen carefully to the directions from the desk person regarding finding your room. The numbering system for the rooms is unique.

United States of AmericaDining. You can't pass mac & cheese with a bit of chicken bits as Chicken Cordon Bleu. Pizza slices were actually pizza corners. Things costing extra weren't clarified up front, and we waited a long time.
Room was large and clean. Swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were an absolute blast in the winter. Our child also enjoyed the arcade games. Close to ski resorts and other activities.

United States of AmericaThe place is dated, old furnishing, decor, actually kind of kitchy.
The indoor swimming pool and hot tub were heave after a long day. Liked not having to walk outdoors to get to the pool. I wish I had time to try the restaurant, it looked very cozy.

AustraliaThere were no rules for people behavior. Next door people were partying well past midnight, laughing and talking very loudly. Noise insulation was not great in the building, and we couldn’t sleep until the party ended.
Conveniently located on the edge of the town, easy to find and get in and out. Facilities include sauna and small indoor pool, which we used. The room was clean and spacious.
