Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I emailed the day before arrival with some basic questions regarding bag storage, check-in time, travel time to LAX etc and got a super brief answer to check in time only. (3pm) On arrival at approx 9:30am we were informed that there was no capacity for luggage storage and we were a group of 12. We were forced to go over the road and book a room for the purpose of storage for the day. We would have organised something else if our questions had been answered. The man on desk when we arrived wasn’t overly friendly, sympathetic or eager to help find a solution. Such a pity, as the room we had was very comfortable when we actually got into it. Pity the shuttle wasn’t available as early as we needed in the morning either 😢

Good accomodation if you want to stay close to the airport. Rooms are nice, large, clean, easy access. There is a free shuttle to the airport every hour.

Unfortunately, it was quite loud in the room because it's not insolated and very close to the street.
The staff is very friendly. The room clean. It's very close to the airport and a shuttle is provided what is convinient. Some shops can be reached by foot.

The shuttle service only runs every hr so we had to wait a long time for pick up as we just missed the last one and we couldn’t use it for return as they don’t run the shuttle from 2-4 so we had to take an Uber around $20. We were in the side building near pool was super noisy you could hear everything the neighbours were doing. Also they are upgrading property so it’s noisy in the morning and we arrived really late.
Close to airport. Bed was comfy.

Shuttle only runs from 5am to 1pm and 5pm to 1am (you also have to call them to come get you). We landed in the afternoon and had to pay the flat rate of USD 25 for a taxi even though it is about 3 km away. Our room was across the road and the exterior looks a bit dingy. I hope they are refurbishing that as well.
Our room across the road was newly refurbished, quite spacious and had very comfortable bed. We spent a comfortable night transiting LAX.

Pleasant staff on arrival and presence of security guard was a plus.Room was clean comfortable and on lower floor near to reception. They offered to get me takeaway food if I wished as I arrived around 1am. I had to pay 100$ breakage deposit but it was back in my bank account promptly.A most reliable friendly lady took us to the airport in the morning in the shuttle bus. So sorry I didn't call her nite before and avoid taxi location hassle! Coffee/ tea available in reception area early morning and also in room + fridge and microwave.Great location about 5 mins + to airport.

It's a lot further from the airport than you think. There is no locked room to leave your luggage in.
It's a standard Travelodge room. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, etc. Fairly close to shops and restaurants (walking distance).

Staff were friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was awesome. They are renovating so there was some construction outside but management apologized for the inconvenience. Work did not affect my stay. Patio needs some work but they are upgrading rooms and that seems like a better priority.

airport shuttle instruction was not clear for first time visitors. Our room is near main road so it is noisy. The basin area also has a sound through out the night. Staff seems unhappy to serve us.

Our room had an outside light on the building which shone through the blinds all night , blockout curtains would be better . A light above the coffee machine would have been good as it was very dark in that corner .

There is 0 sound proofing, it sounded like the above room was talking in ours. We just threw in earplugs to drown it out.

Airport shuttle only runs once an hour on the hour. Within the hour, the bigger hotels run a shuttle service 4-7 times and you can wait longer if there is a lot of traffic in the airport area. I appreciate it’s free and cheaper than a $60 Uber. But likely to avoid this hotel in the future on this point. When you land at midnight, you just want to get to your hotel room asap and not wait on the schedule.
Hotel room was clean. It had all the basics we needed for a short stay. Felt safe and it was pretty quiet.

no Luggge storage for people come in the AM but want to go out and check in in the evenings. You have to store it in somewhere else.

The third party food app in the room was absolute sh*t. It didn’t work and still charged us.
