To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe king size bed we had was not very comfortable it honestly started to hurt my back after the second night and the third night was almost unbearable. And the shower door didn't close all the way so water was getting on the bathroom floor from the shower. And the guest next door were not very pleasant to be neighbors to but that has nothing to do with the hotel.
Location was perfect close to everything we wanted to do. Good halfway point to all the shops and city's we wanted to visit so made for easy breaks through our day. Staff was awesome very well mannered and super helpful.

The first employee we approached at 9-10pm tried to argue with the fact that I paid prior on booking.com and tried to charge me the full stay for about 5 mins until she "clicked on the site" and it said I paid in full. The second employee for overnight was the sweetest person ever! The breakfast was alright something you'd expect from a little hotel but I would stay again.
It was beautiful and peaceful, made me feel safe.

United States of AmericaMy pillows!! For such a nice hotel, the pillows was unsatisfactory. Better quality fruits for breakfast. There was only two options available and you can see by the appearance of the fruits that they have been there a while.
The hotel was in a very nice location, I felt safe. I was very pleased with my receptionist Jada. She was very friendly and gave awesome customer service. She took the time to provide a short brief about breakfast time, check out, and even helped me to make tea. She certainly left a lasting impression, so much that I would book a future reservation at this location. Thank you Jada! 😊

United States of AmericaMy room phone was not working. No hand soap, I had to ask for it. My first night stay was very uncomfortable. I had to call the front desk twice on my cell phone to complain. I was awoken twice with a noisy gathering in front of my door in he hall way. Here was no noise on Saturday.
The room was clean, excepting the chair that was in the room. My black light shows a while stain, which I assume its body fluid. I pushed it out of my way so I don't make the mistake of sitting on it. I give it a 4 out of 5
