Music and noise from the bar was audible up on the 7th floor late into Saturday night. Cost of room service meant a $40 breakfast of coffee, pastries, and scrambled egg.

Very convenient downtown location. I skipped the $68 valet and parked next door in the 24-hr lot for just $45. W maintains an ultracool image and the public spaces are low-lit. Staff was extremely helpful at checkin and when I picked up my sushi dinner delivery. I was upgraded to a suite at checkin so had more space than typical. Bath was roomy and provided a robe. Bed was excellent especially the pillows. Lots of windows in the suite and most had blinds to keep out the light—this was especially useful as my room faced the 24-hr parking garage with its 24-hr lights. Room service breakfast was prompt and tasty, and server was friendly. Elevators were excellent!

Small room for the price and weird deposit fee. Meant to rent a car but heard their parking was $30 + a day. Usually hotels in cities I've traveled to, don't charge for parking if you're staying there in any other city.

Location is good. Walking distance to the peer and Pike Place Market if you are okay with the hilly situation in Seattle. Valet parking is overpriced but convenient traveling with kids and late arrival.

Location was nice. Not a typical hotel with large lobby but nice and liked it that way. Room was okay. Hardwood floor would suit the room and style of the lobby better. Also for hygiene reasons..

Not that anyone can change this…The flow of the lobby was a bit chaotic and small for the number of things that need to be accessed from one path (front door in for arrivals, concierge desk, elevators to rooms and the front desk)but likely just due to large groups coming in at once.

Clean, modern, central location. High floors have beautiful city views.

There wasn’t ample parking. We had to park at a parking garage 4 blocks away from the W, paid for parking & then had to walk, with our luggage, to the hotel. VERY DISAPPOINTED. In the 4 block walk, we had to dodge homeless people, & step over trash & drug paraphernalia.

I liked that it was close to the event that I was going to.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as I was hoping, it's better than many other hotel beds I've slept on but it could have been better. Everything was a bit pricey (drinks, snacks, etc.) but they offered quite a variety in the room.

The room was large and had plenty of space, with a wide sectional able to fit two people comfortably reading or doing other things. Everything was spotless, and the concierge was helpful with any requests.

Hotel room wallls have little sound insulation. Had to listen to a crying baby From next door neighbour. Unfortunately, neither of us got much sleep.

advertisement of a lounge vibe in the lobby but there was zero after 11pm. we booked this under the assumption that a lounge would be open in late hours after going to a big concert. very disappointing
