to noisy being near the 405 freeway wi fi not free. no parking in front of my room

I was familiar with the area and I needed a hotel close to UCI Chao Cancer center. This was the perfect place, near food, good parking, gas across the street, grocery store is close for any essentials. It was very clean, the bathroom was clean and stocked. The tv worked and had many channels. A little to noisy especially at night. Your near the 405 and some people partying next door but not to bad once you fell asleep. Just put the heater or cooler on and you can't hear the neighbors. It was easy check in and out I booked via booking.com and will use the site again and stay at the same hotel.

Upon arrival, parking lot was blocked with police activity. Lots of homeless individuals around. Restroom smelled like cigarettes, we got a smoke free room.

Rock hard pillows, guy who was in the lobby in the morning was rude and lacked customer service skill, very unpleasant.

Front desk staff was not rude but kinda indifferent towards clients. Had to go to front desk to ask for 4 new towels for the 2nd night (as the room service was not provided), got 2 only. Never sent the other 2. Asked for 2 extra blankets. Was told only 1 available.

There was a lot of traffic noise, but there's not much you can do about that. The driveway also was shared with a very busy In & Out burger restaurant so it was sometimes a bit of a challenge to get to the parking lot.

Location was on an easy to access main street, as well as being close to the freeways. It felt like a fairly safe neighborhood to be in, with lots of restaurants and amenities close by. The parking lot was well lit and a member of staff was always onsite.

The smell in the room and the fluctuation of temperatures, as I did not understand how to control it; There was a yucky texture on the shower floor for stepping on.

The location was next to the best Cali restaurant I know of.

Dirty floors, especially the bathroom. Smoking and non-smoking rooms shouldn't be connected. You could smell it through the vents.

Lady at check in was very nice and polite. Room was ready when I got there. Kids enjoyed the pool. I placed the white towel for the floor in the bathroom on the floor and it turned black, the floor was very dirty! I had a non-smoking room but could smell smoke coming through the vents from next door. Decent amount of parking. We we're able to get lots of ice with no issues, would stay again if needed.

the rooms seemed really tight, for a 2 bed room I expected more room. the shower was tiny, couldn’t move around without hitting the walls.
