Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room was clean, bright, with a big TV. The place was quiet and the bathroom was very clean. The pool area was nice and a good place to sit and read. The location was great and while there were stairs to climb too get to the property, there were not that many. They were very helpful allowing us to check in early and we enjoyed the balcony area while enjoying a continental breakfast. For the price of the room the value was very good.

We had an upstairs room and water pressure was an issue. We had just a trickle of water which was very inconvenient.

MexicoI chose this property for location and price point. The pool area was really lovely. I did choose the most economical room which came with a shared bathroom. Everything was very clean, dated and very budget but clean. The young girl at reception could be quite lovely or she could be quite challenging and you never knew quite what you would get. I got the impression on the family is waiting to move on from running this hotel.

ItalyThe girl from the breakfast should definitely change attitude. No smile and ready to shout at you as soon as you ask a simple question !!! ( I asked if the water was boiled for the tea) ..she obviously did not appreciate..she treats all the clients with bad manners ..not just me. No curtain in the room so you wake up as soon as the sun rises .
The hotel is in the center, with an amazing view , big rooms and beds are very confortable. The pool is very nice and everything is very clean and ordinate. The receptionist is really nice and helpful . I did like the breakfast..enough for what I need in the morning

United StatesNo parking on site, which I did not know until I got there. Still, I was able to find parking nearby, but if you've ever driven in the V.I. you will know why you don't want to have to search around for parking here! Wish I would have know before booking so I could be prepared, that's all.
Breakfast was very basic - granola bars and coffee.

United KingdomThere are a lot of steps to lug your suitcase up to reception before anybody can offer you any help. The breakfast was poor and the guy on duty in the morning was surly and unhelpful and disappeared. Later a more helpful and friendly guy came.
Great location in historic centre. Our room was clean with a balcony overlooking the harbour. They looked after our bags for an hour after check out.

United StatesCan hear other persons through the walls. My second night there was a Tuesday 2/4/25 and there was a rude loud male shouting at 6am- about 630. Didn't hear or see how facility handled issue. The stairs leading to hotel get to be exhausting after 2-3 times up them. So pack what you need before leaving your room for the day.
Breakfast options are the basic(tea/coffee, bagel/muffins, pop tarts, instant oatmeal),sometimes fruit. Area was safe enough and 2 gates locked at 8pm by staff. Room was very clean, linens smelt very fresh, shower has hot water and pressure was good. Night time view of mountain from open patio was beautiful too.

Trinidad and TobagoI do not have an issue with the stairs, but for people not inclined to climbing this may not be the property for you. Water supply was temperamental on mornings and the WiFi connection was poor.
The views of the below bay of Charlotte Amalie are among the highlights of St. Thomas. The rooms are comfortable though there can be some improvements. It is close to many restaurants and to the ferry bay where during November to April you can get a ferry to St. John.

United StatesMy only suggestion would be to folks who have disabilities getting up steps to maybe choose another property to stay at. You have to go up LOTS of steps to get to your room which didn't bother my wife and I but I could see where it would be a deal breaker for some.
Location was amazing. The staff was exceptional. The rooms and property are an old (probably historic) building, but everything was very clean. They don't do hot breakfast anymore- since a Covid I think- but they still offer coffee and fruit and there are many breakfast options nearby.
