The facilities are a bit rundown, though very clean. One of the electrical sockets had pulled loose from the wall.

The location was outstanding. The breakfast was minimal, but I had not expected more, given the price. The fellow in charge was ever so friendly and was willing to aid us in any way possible. The pool is beautiful.

The room looks shaby. Broken tiles unde the bed, stained curtains, curtains did not keep the light out. Refrigerator had a constant vibrating noise every time the compressor swithced on. Tv was not working.

Liked that the property had a nice view, was close to town and had a nice deep pool. Breakfast was underwhelming, but good enough to grab on the go munchies (granola bar, fig bar, fruit, muffin). Staff was nice, one of the staff even offered to take us to Magens Beach.

The water pressure was a problem.

The owners were super nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. We booked rooms with a shared bathroom which we thought was being shared with the other couple we were with. Once we got checked in we realized the bathroom was being shared by several rooms. As we were only there one night it wasn’t a big deal as there was only one other room booked that was sharing the bathroom. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the the office and patio. The view was awesome!

There are quite a few steps. But honestly, when the staff saw us struggling with our luggage, they were quick to help us.

Absolutely the best staff at this facility. Every single one of them went out of their way to make sure that we were happy and taken care of. It is an older hotel, but the history is incredible and they keep it incredibly clean. Had a nice simple breakfast in the morning. Very close to the shopping/restaurants. They recommended a wonderful restaurant we visited after a long day of traveling. A very nice refreshing pool and the landscaping is beautiful. Again, the rooms are dated, but were very comfortable and clean. It was a perfect stay for our group of three couples. Can’t say enough about the wonderful staff!

Water pressure is not important and is an island- wide reality - to be expected. Parking also an issue with hillside parking but again is a reality island-wide with such hilly terrain. An excellent hotel.

Location was fantastic - downtown with historic buildings and excellent harbor overlook! Room was cozy and clean and tidy! Water pressure was a little weak but that is a result of the arid island environment. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Location to Charlotte Amalie was excellent. We were able to walk to shopping and resteraunts, yet while at the property we felt very secluded. Owner and staff were wonderful and accommodating. They made our stay enjoyable and relaxing.

Great location. It was a quaint, a little secluded and side street very close to downstreet and easily walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It was easy to mingle with other guests and make great conversation.

Bed was comfortable. My suggestion if we get two pillows per person as our bed did not have any head board.

It is a cute quaint hotel in hillside with a great harbour view. Early morning chickens (hens) noises with Caribbean breeze from the waterfront was heavenly for me. The breakfast area was a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of red roof top and blue water with boats. The swimming pool surrounded by tropical plants and flowers was soothing. The location was the best as You could walk anywhere from the hotel to the historic places. The room was clean, great AC , Shower and the wifi worked fine. The owners and staff were wonderful. Sania and Saida extremely sweet and helpful, they gave us a ride to Bluebeard's hill when we were lost walking to find it. Mr Harry's prompt response to any concerns were appreciable. They are incredible host like a family.

Improving the breakfast items would go a long way to improve this property rating. They could offer natural raw sugar , some natural Caribbean juices, boiled eggs and a hash option for persons who prefer a veg breakfast.

The room did not have a view but it was just a close walk to the tables in the lounge area so wasn't an issue.

The property was conveniently located near the shopping district and restaurants. There is parking but may be a little harder to find during the middle part of the day. An easy drive over to Megan's Beach.
