Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe loved everything, the only negative was that it was too short. If I were to do it again I would do 3D 2N.
Where do I begin? From the second you even get to the departure lounge to when you disembark the cruise it was luxury, comfort, professionalism, and quality. The price looks steep on paper, but it is worth every penny and more.

United KingdomWater and drinks should be included at dinner.
The luxury feel, the staff (especially Philip) the organisation, the wonderful meal and dinner service and attention to my vegetarian needs. The rooms were lovely and the bed was so comfortable. It was like being on the Titanic in the 1930's. So special.

PakistanI found the service at the property significantly wanting. Now to be fair I will clearly state the cruise manager informed me they were short staffed since two members of their staff took unscheduled absences and perhaps my experience was a bit off due to bad luck. In my opinion, that in itself shows a certain apathy on the part of the cruise’s management given they did not see fit to provide the manager additional temporary staff to manage the workload without compromising on guests’ experience. When you have enough “small issues” (e.g. dishes at buffets not being replenished for over 10-12 minutes during meal times, not enough wait staff to serve drinks, requiring guests to walk up to the reception to ask for towels or more drinking water, the allegedly heated pool not being heated due to maintenance etc.) it does take away from the overall experience. The cruise manager and assistant DID go out of their way to genuinely listen to my feedback and do whatever they could to make up for my somewhat mediocre experience and is probably why I’ve still rated the experience at an 8. If it hadn’t been for their sincere efforts in this regard I would likely have rated the stay significantly lower.
The cruise ship is great; medium sized vessel so not overwhelming or too crowded, small enough that one can interact with fellow passengers and large enough for one to also enjoy in private. The ship interior is tasteful, cabins, dining room, Piano lounge, and upper deck are aesthetically pleasing, well spaced out, and make for a comfortable space to stay in. The Executive Suite we stayed in was well worth the extra spend for the larger room, balcony, and nicer bathroom. The food served was overall pretty good. The lunch buffet had a decent spread, reasonable sushi and various Asian style fish, prawn, and chicken dishes. Dinner set menu was decent- the lobster was a little overcooked, the Australian beef steak was exquisite in terms of flavor and cook. Breakfast was fair, underwhelming selection of breads (sliced and crossaint) but they had a conveyor belt toaster and when you slid either of the two in there what came out was on point. One kind of cheese and cold cut meat, pretty basic. Eggs cooked to order fresh were great. The beverage selection included as part of either buffet was wanting; one usually expects at least fresh juices and soft drinks to be included and only alcoholic beverages to be charged for. The activities offered were pleasant and I suppose somewhat limited by Ha Long Bay as a location. Which brings us to Ha Long Bay itself. Kind of a mixed bag tbh- the topography and views were stunning and unique but super crowded. There’s far too many other boats and tourists to really enjoy the location. More tourists of course means more trash in the water, crowded beach / swimming point, etc. which is quite off-putting. Timing your visit is also quite important. We visited in the first week of April and it was a bit cloudy and windy so we didn’t get that crystal clear water we hoped for BUT we did get a chance to see the bioluminescent plankton at night which was a real treat.

Better than most hotels in Vietnam. Full set of activities and the rooms are very nice and super comfortable. Very good water pressure in the shower. Its a floating 5 star hotel.

Germany- most cruises have the same program. We left port at the same time, docked at the first stop at the same time. This Led to quite alot of foot traffic at the attractions. They could change up the schedule to have their guests enjoy more. if you prefer not waiting in line at most attractions book a private boat tour of halong bay - 2 night cruise participants were transferred to thr smaller and much older Paradise Explorer. The boat needs to be decommissioned - the fumes of diesel exhaust were not a very pleasant accompaniment to our meals. - Take a closer look at the drinks price list, it can be misunderstood: we ordered a bottle of wine thinking the price shown for bottles was indeed the bottle price. But it was the glass price - we got charged for 5 glasses of wine. A bit of a surprise when we got the bill.
Fine dining promise was fulfilled. Felt great being catered to. The live band to set the mood and happy hour on the sun deck were a hit. Beautifully furnished rooms with a very comfy bed For the 2 night cruise Kayaking at the fishing village on day 2 is way better than Kayaking on day 1 - beautiful views. The 2 night cruise was relaxing and left enough time to enjoy the cruise experience. Would do it again. - The chance to wait at the beautiful hotel lounge and not at the port on drop off and pick up is very nice

FranceThe only downside for us were the excursions. All the boats make the same stops at the same time which makes it difficult to enjoy (depending on your health and pace I guess).
