To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

South AfricaThe shower floor had a few mold stains. The coffee sachets were not enough and it was bad. The parking space was extremely small and narrow.
The accommodation was amazing. The view was exceptional. The close distance to MOJO Market was a a winner. The bed was the best. The soothing music played when I entered the room set a perfectly relaxing ambiance.

South AfricaI made a last minute booking and got a room on the ground floor and it did not have a balcony, I didn’t realise this when making the booking, I just assumed all the rooms had balconies. There was a cute little table in front so I just sat out there for a little while. But definitely double check for the balcony rooms from floor one.
This was my 4th or 5th stay and it is always lovely. The lady at check in was so nice and the gent I saw when I got back late from work was also just as welcoming. The chocolates were a lovely treat. You also get complimentary water. The shower is the best! A mini rain shower with perfect, scorching hot temperatures. Parking is safely inside and the area is a walk away from one of our offices.
