Highly recommended, a very well presented and well run establishment. Staff had just the right level of attentiveness, good breakfasts and the one evening meal we took at the hotel was excellent. For such a desirable location, close to the attractions of the Western Cape the price was very reasonable.

Our stay at Glen Avon Lodge for two nights was a lovely retreat. Our room was so comfortable and very thoughtfully designed. We had all we needed. Even dressing gowns. The property is in a lovely area filled with beautiful gardens and trees. Close to restaurants so we were able to walk to one at night and feel safe. The breakfast provided was delightfully displayed and absolutely delicious from the sweet ripe fruits right through to the continental and hot breakfast. A banquet for sure. We enjoyed sundowners and breakfast on the balcony over looking manicured flower gardens 👌🏻 We will definitely stay again. Such service and comfortable affordable accomodation is a delight to find. A credit to all we dealt with there. Thank you 🌸

Only filter coffee at breakfast and not enough milk for tea in the rooms. The pillows were too hard.

When it was good weather we sat on the terrace for breakfast. We didn’t eat dinner in the evening. Good location for getting around CT and felt safe

Well maintained. Friendly and helpful reception upon arrival and throughout our stay. Nice pool area and loungers. Excellent restaurant for evening meals on site and convenient for an alternative just across the road. 15 mins from the amazing Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and half an hour from the Table Mountain cable car.

An oasis of calm at a great location. Our room was spacious, even with the addition of the baby cot, with directly outside an almost private terrace. Beautiful pool area with adjacent garden. A simple but delicious breakfast, and everything was tended by wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. We liked our stay so much that we extended with one more night.

Air-con broke down in one of our 4 rooms. Unable to repair it and had to order a part.

Staff went out of their way to do extra for us! They brought us wrapping paper when we needed it, helped with all our bags and were always pleasant and professional at the same time.

Great to have breakfast on the property! Very good breakfast and the staff went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and make us comfortable. Beauty, Chipo, Tobias and Male were always there for us!

Beautiful gardens, peaceful, away from the crowds. If you want privacy and peace - then this is for you. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much hassle. Tobias served us a fabulous breakfast every morning!

Everything was perfect

A great location just outside the city. The staff were all friendly and could not have been more accommodating - special shout out to Beauty, Malle and Tobias who were front of house and Cloe who prepared great breakfasts and presented superb 3 course dinners. Would recommend to singles, couples and families. Cannot wait to visit again

I didn't like the breakfast at all, unfortunately. The homemade bread was delicious but the choices were really not great. For someone health conscious, there were little to no options.

I adored the quietness. The only thing was when people came in and out of their rooms (where I was staying), it was quite noisy - I think based on the wooden stairs etc. But overall - dead quiet and so tranquil That was my favourite part.

NICELY PRESENTED . POLITE ATTENTIVE STAFF . PLENTY TO EAT . PLENTY OF TEA OR COFFEE . I had my breakfast outside in the sunshine . I liked the gracious style of the place and the table settings .
