We loved the great room and the terrace with a view! Unfortunately we were not informed that on both days of our stay were private events and we couldn’t use the terrace! The service was friendly and nice and the team at the Concierge enormous helpful and competent!

We didn’t feel like eating in the hotel as the so called dining room was really not inviting, more a canteen type and the bar was not serving anymore at 22:10 when we wanted to take a nightcap, they were cleaning up and refused to still serve a drink

Breakfast was delicious. Excellent choices. Shuttle to the Waterfront was great. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was lovely as well as the lotions and soaps. The view is amazing.

The cleaning staff in rooms could to better to live up to the standard of the hotel but this won’t change my mind in coming again. It was excellent!

I thought the breakfast could have been a bit better, nothing wrong with it and lots of choice but not as good as other similar priced hotels. The lifts were constantly a problem due to reliability issues which meant being on the top floor it could take a long time to get a lift.

Lovely apartment and view and unbeatable location watching the dolphins in the morning. Staff were all very friendly.

Housekeeping services let this hotel down badly! Every day was a different cleaning or turn down experience. I had to call most days to get our water refilled, amenities refilled, glasses returned, patio cleaned etc. Towards the end of our stay they just didn't bother coming any longer, but always promising someone would come. We had a ground floor suite and as a result of the wind it was always sandy and dusty. I only asked for cleaning of it when we would be at the hotel for a rest day. They came twice. The next two requests were totally ignored. Breakfast closing at 10h30am even between xmas and new year. We are on holiday! Have weekend hours at least please. Also refilling the buffet items were hit and miss. Security needs training on handling guests. Patrick all but told me I'm lying on day 1 when I tried to enter the pool area which is reserved for guests. Turns out the suite number we had is not usual. It's not what he asked, but how he did it. Happened again on day 6 with Patrick. Jacques was the consummate professional and perhaps he should train your team. Security at front boom over that period was anything but friendly. Perhaps have a better way of identifying guests other than an interrogation? Parking was plentiful, but the system is a nightmare. Needs an upgrade urgently. We had 2 separate bookings and got locked out of our rooms when the first one ended. No problem. Front desk sorted it out. 4pm that same day guests walked into our room as it was allocated to them. The porter was super efficient when he saw us inside and escorted the other guests back to reception. The woman at front desk (one of the surly ones) told me it's impossible and I was mistaken. A gent later came to me and said he had made the mistake and apologized for the confusion. People make mistakes and I told him it's ok. But madam who wrote me off needs to be checked on her guest relations skills.

The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. We chose it for this exact reason, and actually ended up staying 10 nights. Breakfast was a feast every day..options almost limitless. Queues could be long for some options but worth it. Every meal we had was decadent. Compliments to the chef and his team. Even room service meals were awesome! Breakfast in room was a magnificent experience. It was a preference for us as we had a beautiful sea facing suite. Thank you to the F&B team. Front desk staff and porters cannot do enough for guests. A few front desk members were surly but did not impact my experience at all! I just asked for Nandi or Cindy who were superstars. There is another gentleman whose name now escapes me. Safe plentiful parking. We had our own vehicle and this was a non negotiable. The pool area was always immaculately clean. Staff were out early morning already to see to this area. Sometimes I would ask them to clean our patio too, since it was right there and always dirty. See below.
