Still want to have the old fashioned soap bar instead of the liquid bottles. Pet peeve. Not a show stopper. Understand why they do it. Not airconditioned but had a great fan

The hotel is wonderfully situated on the Clarens Square close to all the attractions & eateries. Great check with very helpful receptionist who went out of her way to help with reserved parking at a very busy time for Clarens. Great room, clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived on Friday evening , there was a private function at the Pizza restaurant (which i fully understand is not in any way related to this accommodation ). The noise was deafening and thankfully by 10.30pm the party had ended . Unfortunately the super loud staff who preferred to shout to each other instead of talking resulted in even more frustration by cleaning up the venue. Tables were scrapped along floors , shouting and laughing non stop (staff) On Saturday morning , the noise started up again with noisy restaurant staff scrapping tables and shouting from corner to corner waking my partner and i up . This Pizza restaurant is the main reason i would not return here and i am confident other visitors must have experienced this If you want peace and quiet, be warned of this noisy restaurant downstairs

The venue itself is very well located and you just need to walk out of the door and you are in the center of town. The unit has everything you need for a pleasant stay and the views from the unit are beautiful . The venue has wonderful charm and it is very nice establishment but unfortunately the lively pizza restaurant underneath detracts from any peace and quiet . The lady in reception was amazing and such lovely people working here

Great option for a quick stay in Clarence. Centrally located and very fair price. We arrived late and even though the restaurant (which forms part of the hotel) was closed the chef whipped us up some spaghetti!

it was above a very noisy restaurant! the owner of the restaurant was having a one man party and when it was time to close his staff was not concerned about how noisy they where while packing up the chairs and screaming to each other!

I loved that it was in the middle of town! did not have to move my car!

The reception for the Room is in the back . Which on arrival we didnt know .The manner in which we were told by the bar lady unfortunately was nothing short of rude.

loadshedding happened and they have no generator or invertor and it was freezing cold. Thank goodness for the fire but we ran out of wood quickly we arrived 10min before check in and they couldn't accommodate us. I asked if we could park there so long and they told us to come back later as no body was there
