We arrived in Johannesburg a little apprehensive about safety after having a less than positive taxi ride, taking us around many unsafe areas. When we checked in, we were assured the hotel was in a safe area and we would be safe in the gated space. This was true - it was great having security and gates around the hotel. The staff were all so friendly - from front desk to housekeeping to porters to chefs to servers, transport and security. Always smiling, always asking after us. Nothing was too much trouble. We made use of the hotel shuttle - our driver Jimmy was brilliant - calm, friendly and knowledgeable, and his aim was to keep us safe at all times. We also used the hotel’s travel arm - going to Soweto, Apartheid Museum and Pilanesberg. Our drivers were incredible - courteous, patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I loved the little details at the hotel - the patterns on tje velour chairs showed just how focused on the little things the staff are. Great value for money - would recommend!

South AfricaSingle bed, are very singular. They are very small. The shower door was very difficult to close.
The breakfast and dinner time were very accommodative. The breakfast variations were ayoba and the taste. I liked the waiting area and how staff welcomed us and assisted us through the processes. I liked the shower utilities, availability of hands and body wash, conditioner, body wash in a big bottle. There was no need for us to ask for them in the morning after taking a shower at night.

Exceptional service by the staff. A special thanks to Millian who was of great assistance on Sat. As a black woman, you get nervous when you have to request another black woman for service. Most of the time, you are not recieved well. However, with Millian, it was a pleasanr experience. This proves that the staff is well trained and most importantly, is taken care of and is valued by the employer. So this is my view when it comes to staff behaviours in hospitality or retail service.

United Arab EmiratesHigh standards are maintained akin to a 4 star hotel. The room was spacious, well lit and had a small fridge which is a necessity for long-term guests. Complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water was provided. I used to buy additional coffee and water and it was safe to store juice and other perishables in the fridge. The TV was large and had many channels. I enjoyed watching news on BBC and CNN.

BotswanaWas disappointed by the initial room I was checked into whose door couldn't lock and the aircon malfunctioned!, over and above that there was cold water in the shower in the second room we were transferred to until the anomaly was fixed. There is need for an extractor fan in the bathrooms to deal with bad smells after toilet usage especially after doing a #2.
Staff was warm and very helpful. Food was very tasty and we got treated to a sumptuous Christmas breakfast on the 25th December. We also enjoyed the spacious well equipped gym.

The staff was very helpfull & always friendly. Nice clean hotel to stay. You could just dail the reception & they assist you with everything.
