- location is breath-taking, nothing else to see from the room than the beach and Indian Ocean - Gary and his staff are genuine and friendly. The breakfast they prepared is difficult to top - the hotel is nicely decorated, some very cool artworks all around the place - good dinner options close by

There were ants in the room upon our arrival. We were quickly offered another room, however we decided to stay in that room and they came to spray the room while we were at diner. Ants problem solved.

This is a property that is far better than it comes across in pictures. The villa is breath taking. The location is idyllic. You can be as active or relaxed as you like. The beds are super comfy the sheets are fantastic. Breakfast is delicious. Communication is prompt and helpful. Would definitely come again and bring friends and family! Plus the owner was very accommodating to our halal breakfast needs.

I seriously do not have anything to improve ... only were we sad that we could not add a second night since it was booked out already. Not a surprise given the place.

An amazing place directly at the beach. Wonderful rooms heading the beach - spacy with a well equipped bathroom. All placed in a modern comfortable house. Thank you very much, Gary, for hosting us!

Initial welcome was a bit cold; no help with luggage; and minimal instructions on room facilities. Disappointed that water bottles were charged for - previous venues provide 2 bottle per person free.

The location : the view; proximity to beach; pool and beach chairs available; fruit at breakfast. Gary and Bernie were excellent hosts - and cooked a good breakfast. Quiet ambience. Lovely room (Ocean) on ground floor. Proximity to good restaurants- Las Salinas (Walking); Joplins (4 min ride) and plenty of choices in village (4 mins by car). Felt comfortable and could treat it like home.

The Wi-Fi in my room was very poor, I had to use my own data during the stay. The hotel may also want to consider providing some drinking water for guests - at the moment you need to pay extra for water.

Attention: you may not want to leave your room! The sea breeze room, where I stayed for two nights, is mind blowing. The view actually looks better in real life, and the balcony is very big. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing, and the staff was also very nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and the fruit tray was impressive ! There are a couple of good restaurants at a walking distance (Salinas, which can be reached by walking on the beach, and Joplins Steak Bar - not the nicest walk near the road but there is a pedestrian route and it’s only 6 minutes away. Amazing steak!). I have stayed in many nice hotels, but the experience of overlooking directly the beach from your bed is incredible. The mini bar was full of drinks and snacks, and the honesty system was very appreciated. The room was very clean and the overall experience was safe and beautiful.

Absolute beach front, rooms with spectacular view, hotel furnished like you stay in a friend’s house, lots of comfortable couches in common areas, lots of very interesting coffee table books about South Africa. Lovely staff!

The Staff are not smiling. Once I checked in , one of staff was joking by telling the rooms has no view to see until we see the room . Overall, the staff need more skills to be gentle to Guests expect the white guy in Kitchen was helpful and nice .

The room had the most unbelievable view. It was well equipped with everything you might need from a beach bag with beach towels to a coffee machine and snacks. We had a wonderful stay, it was absolutely incredible.

Our stay was truly delightful, and we wished we could have extended it. The house is beautifully decorated, and Gerry along with his team are a genuinely charming group. The unique beachfront location, just a short drive from the village, adds to the allure. The breakfast is delicious as well. Grateful for these amazing days.

- incredible beach views (dolphin watching from the balcony) - bed and pillows very comfortable - bathroom was clean and spacious - complementary beach as well as lounging equipment - breakfast was very good and made to order - no safety concerns for the area - staff was very knowledgeable about the area and gave good recommendations - very convenient mini bar available with reasonable prices
