We had a lovely stay at Goblins's Creek! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. It has the best value for money of any place we've stayed. Such friendly staff, beautiful and well kitted kitchen and living room with a lovely ambiance. The rooms are luxury!! They spared no effort in making it the perfect stay. What I loved: a large tree house in the front yard kitted with mattress and pillows for reading and relaxing. It is an oasis for animals, with a buck, owl, tortoises and lots of birds coming to visit. There is a lovely beach about 200m away, great for afternoon strolls or a swim. It is located at the end of a cul de sac, making it a nice quite breakaway without any traffic noises. I also enjoyed having our own outdoor space and a lovely outdoor shower. I would recommend it to everyone!

The location is a little further from main towns but this didn’t bother us as we drove.

Beautiful place, the gardens are a lovely place to have breakfast while tortoises wander around, and the rooms are lovely. Having a hot tub per room is great so you can relax with privacy.

If we had to leave a comment re what could have been better, I would say that perhaps the braai room could have been a bit nicer - there didn't seem to be good lighting (but that could have been because of loadshedding), and it could have been a bit cleaner. Also, the breakfast bar was quite limited, I had expected a bit more variety, such as maybe some fresh fruit.

We really enjoyed our stay - the bedroom was beautiful and clean, and the bed was so comfy. The hot tub was a really lovely addition to our stay. The hosts/staff were all very friendly and helpful. We loved the quirky, homely feel of the living area. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place to our friends/family. Thank you for the hospitality!

Parking. Not secure. Not enough space. There were reeds in the oil for a nice smell in the room. The toilet spray was the same cent. I didn’t like the smell. It was irritating my nose and overwhelming.

The place was exceptional loved the staff and the hosts who were very welcoming when we arrived there earlier than the usual time. The facilities is lovely and has that antique look to it. The town itself is friendly with everyone advising us to eat by this one restaurant JP's Bistro which was superb.

Clean. Neat. Small detail that counts. Although we did not use the communal kitchen, everything is there to your disposal. Gardens are kept very neatly. Perfect place to come and relax and recharge your batteries.

I enjoyed being outside with access to the garden. I liked having access to the kitchen and eating as I wish. I loved seeing your "pets". I loved the big shower. Thank you for allowing my family to visit me and enjoy my space.

Brett was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very clean. Does not look amazing from the outside, but once you get in, it is a real treat. A bit eccentric, but so, so nice. Loved everything and very, very reasonable. We will go back.

The property is clean, neat and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend Goblin’s Creek to anyone visiting the area. The rooms and beautiful and cozy with a built in fireplace.

There were various cereals and rusks available for guests in the shared kitchen as well as tea and coffee and there was a mini fridge with freezer compartment in one of the closets in the room - I did not do breakfast out of personal choice. there was a pod machine we did not use in the room (which is large by any standards) which we did not make use of, there was the fireplace which we used and also lots of chandeliers in the living room we used one during loadshedding which gave ample light along with the fire in the fireplace - we did not use the LED lantern that was placed next to the coffee pod machine in the room - there is ups in the building but unfortunately the 4 hour loadshedding events with 4 hours to recharge did not allow the ups to recharge fully in-between

Our room was little bit small.. Also because we couldn't enjoy our little yard in front because was too cold. Bathroom and bedroom are in the same room so there is not much privacy.
