To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

South AfricaMy GREAT DISSAPOINTMENT and actual sadness came with the dinner in fine dining. It was not bad, it was shocking. We are blessed in this country to be fed by amazing Chef's. And I eat out a lot! JHB and Cape town. Was he perhaps on leave? We had Risotto and the Bisque Crayfish? The bisque was a thick sauce that was dark brown and tasted burnt? Curry. not a light beautiful bisque? Does he need a recipe perhaps. My Risotto was undercooked and not creamy enough. Mains: My duck breast was smoked? dry and not a beautiful succulent duck breast with a delicate taste? The rest on the plate was fabulous. My husband had the worst carbonara I have ever tasted that had no Langoustine taste but tasted like pork?? Why feed a pasta to an Italian when you don't know how? Just make a creamy sauce with fish broth and put a decent size Langoustine on. Straight forward. Why do this to someone who has been to your hotel 4 times?? NOOOO! I suggest you get an anonymous diner to order those dishes on a Friday night with the same chef and give it a score. I visit your hotel for the FOOD! So sad.
The breakfast was exceptional and supper at same location was good. The high tea, although I did not have, looked wonderful. Staff clothing very nice. Staff amazing.
